"60 minutes" landed the first big interview with trump and you'll see it right after this newscast. but first it was a very busy day for the president-elect. roxannea sberi reports. >> reporter: donald trump is turning to a washington insider for his white house chief of staff, reince priebus, the chairman of the republican national committee. the president-elect named right-wing media mogul steven bannon trump says he's thrilled to have his team continuing to lead with him. >> the president-elect of the united states of america, donald trump. >> reporter: five days after trump's triumph at the polls, his team took to the sunday morning shows to address growing concerns about a divided country. >> his victory speech was very conciliatory, very much in the right direction. >> it's final for president obama and secretary clinton to say the protesters, this man is our president. >> reporter: protesters hit

chanting slogans against donald trump. >> what you most afraid of? >> that racism and sexism and homophobia will go unheard. >> i have a 19-year-old boy. and i don't think he should be subjected to any of this abuse. >> reporter: as these protesters march through the streets of new york, their numbers are growing. many of them say these demonstrations will continue until trump addresses their concerns. in his first "60 minutes"' lesley stahl, he still plans to secure the border with mexico. >> are you really going to build a wall? >> yes. >> would you accept a fence? >> for certain areas i would, certain areas the wall is more appropriate. i'm very good at this, it's called construction. >> reporter: trump also told "60 minutes" as president he'll be very restrained on social media. >> lydia: and back here at

weather, it's going to be cold out there tonight, but you'll want to bundle up to get a look at what's in the sky. beth mcleod is in the first alert center with the details. hey, sounds good, beth. >> beth: take a look at that, the superman right now happening. fantastic shot. okay, that's looking down chester. we caught it right after the moon rise. i'll tell you what, that's what it actually looked the biggest. but with the emails i get and sowm people firm commenting on i thought my neighbor installed a light last windows windows that i don't have curtains on seem so much brighter overnight. we're definitely seeing the supermoon tonight, even a glim -- glimpse of it tomorrow as well. we have clear skies now, we'll have clear skies tomorrow as well. supermonday, not supermoon, not a huge difference, but it definitely seems that way. it's the brightness that i really notice. not so much the size, but let me tell you it's here for tonight, tomorrow and then you're not going to see it until like 2034

yeah, i know. so it's the biggest it is right now. and i'll tell you what, i'm sure you notice. look at this, lydia. even our graphics pull up -- i know, first of all, i thought what is that. the supermoon all the way down. clear skies, if you're heading out to check it out, some of you like towards wooster, you really need to bundle up, because you'll start dropping quickly. tomorrow more of the same weather we saw today. overnight lows in the mid-30s and some of you a little less. but tomorrow sunshine galore and we're back into the lydia? >> lydia: all right. thank you, beth. to our top story, a local bartender murdered by armed robbers as she tried to hide in a back room. well, she's being remembered in a special way tonight. shanice dunning is on cleveland's west side with that story. shanice? >> reporter: yeah, lydia, melissa "missy" brinker was beloved bartendser at the cooly lounge on west 130th and cleveland. she was shot and killed three weeks ago, you can see behind

organized in her honor, the people who organized this event, her friends and family just told me about 400 people have come here and it started at 3:00 and it will end at 10:00 tonight. again brinker was killed the night of october 24th, while working at the lounge on west 130th. police say four men came nootbaar and took out guns and when brinker ran to call for her, they found and shot and killed her. brinker made a lot of friends who became more like family while she worked there. i spoke me what it looked like to see this outpouring of love for her daughter. >> she was very, very loving, caring person. beautiful inside and out. full of life, always smiling. always happy. i just pray every day that we catch them, who did, it's hard some days, you know. i just take it one day at a time.

outpouring of just love and support for this woman here, as you see the large crowd forming behind me. and again this event will go on until 10:00. family and friends who i spoke with said police right now they're not sure if they have any leads. crime stoppers is also offering a $2,500 reward, because they're still searching for information about who killed melissa "missy" brinker. we'll have more information on this our later show. getting answers in cleveland, shanice news. >> lydia: all right. they're shaking things up in shaker heights. demolition has started at the van aken shopping area and they're making room for a new restaurant, stores, apartments, office and parking garage northwest of the r.t.a. line. a big day -- >> sunday morning at the west side market. and for the first time -- >> lydia: all right. let's go back. it is a big day for vendors and shoppers at the west side

done. denise zarrella asking questions and getting answers, the vendors lost money during that construction. >> reporter: it's sunday morning at the west side market. and for the first time in a long time, finding a parking spot was a breeze for kenneth and jill parks. >> i think it's awesome. we've tried to come down a few times and it's been really tough to park. i think this is a great break for the vendors and for the customers just to come down. >> reporter: the city just finished up a parking lot project that took several months toom yeah, because we've been up here many times before, it's just difficult. you know, you had to -- they were so small and you had to wind around. this is just great. >> reporter: so now there are 128 new parking spots, but while construction crews were working on creating that new parking space, many of the vendors here say their business went down about 50%, so they're still hurting financially and they're asking the city to give them a break. jason scott of greg's produce told me his business is one of

signed a petition to get the city to consider a rent decrease to offset the loss business owners have endured since construction on the parking project began. >> sometimes the help, we had to cut their hours, which wasn't good, because that was me. but it was a lot. we had to buy less. >> reporter: greg shook now occupies a space vacated by a vendor, whose business was destroyed by the loss of revenue. he's confident he wille though. >> we've built a great business and we are the only 100% organic stand in the market. so customers customers have verl here. >> reporter: having parking for customers, though, is key. >> yesterday we had a lot more customers, we've seen our business going up a little bit more. so thank god. >> reporter: asking questions and getting answers in cleveland, denise zarrella, cleveland 19 news. >> lydia: and the petition put together by west side market vendors was just submitted to the city.

earthquake killed about 185 people back in 2011. to a health alert right now for more than 50 million americans, who suffer from arthritis pain. research released today raises questions about two of the most commonly used anti-inflammatories in the world. for a decade, researchers have been concerned about how the popular arthritis drug celebrex compared to drugs ibuprofen. they found t generally lowered risk of heart and other complications, when compared with ibuprofen. cleveland clinic doctor says the results are surprising and even more so when it comes to the naproxe. >> many guidelines over the years have recommended to heart patients that they take naproxen. it was believed to be the safest of the drugs. and we didn't find that.

going to head out and check out the supermoon, temperatures are already starting that slide. but clear skies everywhere. just get away from the trees and the building. the moon will light your way. but look at some of these temperatures, akron-canton already down to 42 degrees. mansfield 43. wooster 46. if you woke up this morning, like dover area, it was into the mid-20s. it's going to be kind of like that tonight. a very cold start tomorrow. the closer you are to the lake, the warmer you're going to be. oh, you have to go check it out tonight. you can see tomorrow, but tonight is when it's the biggest. but over the next couple of days, let me tell you, there are no really alert days coming our way. we have a beautiful string of days all back-to-back-to-back. some of the things you'll bump into. tuesday night some sprinkles, not a big deal. and i do mean close to 7 -- 70 degrees and big changes for next weekend. important that you enjoy what

of clouds, not very many, 53 out at hopkins. so like today, by the time we get to lunchtime, almost everybody at the 50-degree mark. and then the afternoon time, everyone in the mid-50s. we start dropping and heading to the 40s overnight monday night. another cold start to tuesday. tuesday the system is a little closer and comes in dry on tuesday. but it d does have some cloud cover out there. most areas down to freezing starting tuesday morning. this is still tuesday. wee tuesday afternoon. game changer, though, tuesday night into wednesday. i don't know. it's overnight. we get some rain showers, lake-effect, a lake enhancement along the lakeshore. it's not that big of a deal, it's gone by wednesday morning. so i don't know. perfect weather at this point. lots of sunshine coming our way tomorrow. mid-50s. and then the next couple of days, well, repeat weather. just add to more clouds for tuesday, wednesday. thursday and friday, those are our hit days of the week, look at that, lydia. we're absolutely fantastic into
