right now our allison brunner is getting answers at the scene of the crash. allison, what can you tell us? >> reporter: well, guys we arrived on scene moments ago. what we can tell you, police tell me this male driver was on i-90 westbound when he was shot at. he lost control of his car and spun out. take a look behind me. he spun out going through the chain link fence at burke airport. his car was shot multiple he was the only driver in the car at the time. he was taken to the hospital. no update on his condition as of right now. police, as you can see are still on the scene trying to figure out exactly how this happened and what led to the situation. right now interstate 90 westbound is shut down. as soon as we learn new details we will continue to update you on this breaking news story. getting answers, allison brunner, cleveland 19 news. thank you, allison.

people were potentially exposed to carbon monoxide at the lorain county automotive systems facility wednesday sending work 7 workers to the hospital. dani carlson digging into the business history getting answers if there were problems before wednesday. >> reporter: we looked on-line and found lorain county automotive systems has one open health complaint from osha that appears to be from an unrelated incident earlier this year. we looked into it carbon monoxide is an issue for this business before. talking to the general manager on the phone today he says this is the first time the business ever had an issue with carbon monoxide to this issue saying this wednesday they only had one or two people complaining of a headache before. we obtained records from the elyria fire department showing they responded 1 times in the past year leading us to ask if there were any signs of a

indicative of a history of any particular problem there. this appears to be isolated to the carbon monoxide and work on the system for the heating and cooling. >> reporter: captain kevin sabo says it appears the work on heating and cooling system was the trigger for high carbon monoxide levels. >> they are picking up 400 parts per million. >> reporter: what does it mean to the regular person? >> generally, you should have carbon monoxide levels below 1 in a should be at zero. >> reporter: according to osha on-line, the elevated level found at the business wednesday was double the maximum allowable amount of carbon monoxide. >> if you didn't show up when you did, it could have been a lot worse. >> it did if they continued to work in the facility. >> reporter: talking to the general manager on the phone the inspections have been completed and some contractors will be out to fix a few things tomorrow and the business is expected to

lively from cleveland 19 news driven by don joseph toyota in kent, this is cleveland 19ne tonight it may be high school football games on the cold and drizzley side. if you thought today was gray just wait. tomorrow might not be pleasant for the greater cleveland area. winds out of the west, southwest not a big deal but they will change as we go through the overnight and come out of the northwest. we will see spotty drizzle or some light rain showers through the evening time. temperatures are not in our favor tonight. we will stay in the upper 30s headed towards midnight and

on the tricky side. right now taking a look. a disturbance up to the north changing our weather floating by overnight tonight giving the possibility of rain, wind and winds out of the northwest giving us that perfect time for lake-effect snow. on future view it looks like this. 7:00 tonight headed for high school football games, you need something probably water tight because some areas will see light rain showers. approaching temperatures in the higher elevations in geauga county could see some snow start to develop. going through the overnight hours most areas staying above the freezing mark. but it is cold enough a southern portion of geauga county we could end up seeing a little bit of snow and even accumulation through the early morning hours. this doesn't let up. you can see it is lake enhancement. akron-canton and wooster probably won't see any rain and
