dillinger faces two counts of first degree murder, and is being held in the union county jail pending further investigation. sabrina: in the number two spot this morning... sabrina: the discovery of a man's body between two homes in fort dodge is under investigation. ems responded... and the man was pronounced dead on scene... the manner of death is being ruled suspicious... an autospy will be conducted in the coming days... the identity of the man is not being released at this time. sabrina: the third thing you need to know before you walk out the door... sabrina: the popular attraction jolly holiday lights has been cancelled for the season. storms and power outages forced it to close over the weekend. organizers say the light display must now close for the rest of the season due to high rainfall and the city's projections that the rivers will crest above flood stage this week... sabrina: number four... sabrina: the final republican presidential debate for 20-15 will feature the top nine candidates on the las vegas stage during prime time.

a debate earlier in the evening. heading into the debate, two new debate, two new weekend show donald trump. however, trump the center podium for the debate. the democratic candidates will hold their final debate of the year saturday in new hampshire. sabrina: and finally in the top five... sabrina: today, governor terry branstad becomes the longest serving governor in american history. his seven thousand 642nd day of service to the state of iowa surpasses that of george clinton of new york who served as governor for 21 years between 17-77 and 18-04. as part of the celebration, governor branstad will host an open house at his office in the state capitol beginning at ten this morning. sabrina: in other news...fort dodge police are on the lookout for a man they say fired shots inside of a bar sunday morning.

fight broke out inside of dodger tap bar witnesses say thats when 23 year old jordan foy pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots. no one was struck by a bullet... but several charges will be filed against foy for the incident, as soon as he is found. "at this time we dont have any information that would say he is a danger to anybody else we believe he is still in the area but we're not 100 percent postive on that. " sabrina: foy faces several charges including a felony count of intimidation with a weapon... as well as reckless use of a firearm and felon in possession of a weapon. police ask anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them. sabrina: the man accused of killing a couple inside of their home will be back in court today. sabrina: michael wanchanic faces two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of bryon howard and heather belieu. during his initial court appearance, wanchanic's bond was set at two-million dollars. howard and belieu were found dead inside of a home on center

sabrina: a holiday themed world record attempt in georgia this weekend had hundreds puckering up. more than two hundred couples met to beat the record for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe at once. they joined hands and kissed for at least ten seconds under mistletoe. it was all part of the "holiday in the park" celebration at six flags over georgia.. pictures from the event showed an official guinness world records plaque commemorating the occasion. all: (reax) sabrina time for another break here on

the low 30s going into friday. next week we warm up a bit again back towards the 40s, but as of now it's looking like we won't see that white christmas. sabrina: on to our top story...the investigation of a death in union county, leads to the discovery of a second body. sabrina: a lorimor man is now behind bars, accused of killing his ex sister-in law, loretta dillinger. police arrested jerry ray dillinger during a traffic stop on saturday evening, after conducting search warrants at dillinger's house and another home in thayer. loretta dillinger was originally found in a pond in rural lorimor on december second. investigators used dogs and excavation equipment, and found the remains of a second person at 401 4th street in thayer.

special agent: "we can't get into the specifics of what everyone has been telling us, but through that investigation that we started on the second with the union county sheriff's office, which obviously led us to the arrest." wayne tucker, lorimor resident: "it's just hard to believe that it would ever happen in lorimor, small town. you just don't have it here. we don't have any kind of violence here." sabrina: dillinger faces two counts of first degree murder, and is being held in the union county jail, pending further investigation. sabrina: meanwhile, fort dodge police are investigating the cause of a suspicious death. just before 8 a.m. sunday morning police got a call about an unknown adult white man lying on the ground between two houses on north 8th street... ems responded... and the man was pronounced dead on scene... the manner of death is being ruled suspicious... an autospy will be conducted in the coming days... the identity of the man is not being released at this time. sabrina: the weekend weather proved to be problematic for a popular holiday attraction. sabrina:

ten year old that's what life has been like for an ankeny girl.. ... but its not her health problems that are making her name known throughout her community... its her spirit and personality that makes her this week's iowan to know. local five's nikki davidson has her story. " " the hospital isn't the place many would choose to spend a holiday season... but for 10 year old lelani it's been her home for more than year... shes suffering a condition that causes her heart to grow faster than her body... and complications have kept her doctors busy... 1:25:35 she has gotten told a few times shes kinda like a cat, because she has 9 lives... others have said more like 30. recently she got a heart transplant... now shes waiting on a kidney transplant before she can go home... its great news for lelani... but family says she's more concerned with helping others... worried about younger kids she mets in the hospital. she would say if i stay here forever can they just go home? its her giving nature

lelani has three brothers...and her medical stay has put a strain on her family... friends say recently they noticed the family needed help.. 1:37:19 we're going through cupboard after cupboard in the kitchen, and on oh no. we're in bad bad trouble. so they got together... and held a benefit in her honor to support the family through this journey. 1:37:48 i'll bet we can get people in our community to help out, and low and behold we made it happen. and although lelani couldn't be here physically... technology reminded her shes far from alone...
