the farm near murray trying to save 39-year-old eric reasland. he was buried in soybeans for about three hours. crews cut holes around the bin to release the grain and the pressure inside. sheriff 9:37 got the grain down low enough, seen the subject then rescuers put walls aroudn him to keep the grain from going down on him. then they got him out. stephanie: the sheriff says the weight and pressure of the the sheriff says the weight and pressure of the grain around a body can basically crush a person and cause them to suffocate. rescuers performed cpr on him and got him to the hospital, but reasland died. the hospital sais eric reasland's official cause of death was asphyxiation. stephanie: and here in the metro, police confirmed the identity of a man killed while walking across hubbell avenue. 61 year old james pascasio from des moines died yesterday evening at east 42nd and hubbell avenue. the 19 year old driver who hit him is still being investigated, but police say it appears that speed and impairment were not factors.
