still a relative newcomer on the block, but neighbors told me after the shooting that it had been causing a number of traffic jams, as well as noise disturbances. polk county deputies have been called out there nearly 70 different times for incidents including fights, threats and weapons. needless to say, they're happy to see the doors closed for now, and they hope it stays that way. jennifer turnbull, neighbor: "that was actually something that i was hoping for, since we just moved here and we have kids. i was hoping that bad stuff like that wouldn't happen." it's a tragedy that's united the opinions of a neighborhood. a deadly shooting outside of the evolution nightclub a month and a half ago, slowly began reducing traffic toward the business. diann weinman, neighbor: "every night we check to see if there's traffic and there isn't, and it's wonderful and people can sleep and we don't have bumper to bumper cars and noise. and it's a good thing." jennifer turnbull, neighbor: "it made us a little bit more vigilant about what's going around in our neighborhood."
