as you heard, happening now-- concerns over the winter storm moving concerns over the winter storm moving across iowa... elias: travel could be dangerous today with 98 of iowa's 99 counties in the winter storm warning, local law enforcement have urged people to stay off the roads if possible... even the most experienced drivers will want to take it easy with the predicted conditions. trooper michael clyde, iowa state patrol: "we always see people who think they know how to drive in icy weather, and those are the people that end up crashing their cars into ditches. you can't drive 70 miles an hour on snow and ice, you can't drive 60 miles an hour on snow and ice." elias: state troopers say if you get stranded on the road, be sure to say inside your car where it is safest. they also recommend packing an emergency kit, programming the state patrol into your phone, and bringing something to
