line of duty sunday... elias: while battling a house fire sunday, firefighter bruce arnold was injured while on the scene. crews arrived at a home on bradford drive to find the home fully engulfed. officials say arnold was injured when the home started to collapse and an exterior wall hit him. they say he is expected to be okay. arnold has been a full-time firefighter for 27 years. the cause of the fire remains under investigation... elias: and a well- known restaurant in sioux city was in flames monday. a few employees were inside when the fire started. crews arrived to sneaky's chicken around nine-a-m.. the fire started in a storage closet. no one was hurt, and the restuarant is expected to open back up soon. elias: we're back with meterologist sam schreier... sam: (sam adlibs) sam:m:

start, the flu season is striking big time in iowa. according to the iowa department of public health, there have been four flu-related deaths since november of 2015. iowa has three strains going around.. including the h- 1-n-1 that was really serious in 2009. school-aged kids are more prone to that strain. health officials are warning anyone who hasnt got their flu shot- to do so because it should make a difference. " it could be a pretty bad year because two of the strains could cause pretty serious illness. the good news is the vaccine seems to be a good match for the strains, unlike last year where it wasnt as good for one of the strains" elias: of course some things to keep in mind to fight the flu... make sure to get a flu shot... take preventive action, such as avoiding those who are sick and washing your hands.
