johnson. elias: delivered his 22nd condition of address to iowa lawmakers tuesday... during the speech, governor branstad covered the budget, energy, and the big one...education. like many of the lawmakers said on the first day of the session, governor branstad reenforced that education funding needs to be a top priority. " it is my sincere hope that the general assembly will move quickly to approve supplemental state aid early this session." elias: branstad received bipartisan support on a number of issues he talked about, receiving a long standing ovation for his efforts to improve fairness and equlaity in iowa's criminal justice system. elias: as iowa state students return to the classroom....ame s police hope to solve a case. elias: authorities are looking to find answers in last month's tragic hit a run death
