base and at nearby schools, the navy says it found no sign of a gunman and no evidence of any shooting. an unidentified employee reported hearing three shots early yesterday morning, prompting a full sca lockdown that lasted nearly six hours. six cleveland police officers have been fired and six others suspended for their roles in a police c chase and shooting which left two dead. the officers fired a total of 137 shots during the incident. that was back in 2012. elizabeth hur has more. >> reporter: timothy russell and melissa williams were inside this car riddled with bullets. in all, 137 shots fired. russell and williams were unarmed. it all started with a high speed chase involving 62 police cars over more than 20 miles. thease sparked by a backfiring car, believed to be gunfire. and office mistakenly thinking the suspects were shooting at them.
