elias: downtown des moines is looking to host some big events this year....but visitors will be walking in the weather... elias: construction and route changes could make it tricky for those looking to use the skywalk system to get around. the convention center hotel construction has closed down parts of the skywalk until 2018. just days away from the start of the state wrestling tournament... some businesses say those construction concerns are going to cost them a lot of money... aj's popcorn is located in the kaleidscope area... and says there's a lot less foot traffic now that parts of the skywalk are blocked off.
