"think about the reason we get into the business, this is what we're talking about. no empathy for anyone else, no concious, his actions clearly demonstrate he was very violent " " lucas: police say they strongly believe yahia is the only possible suspect. local five

urbandale police to see if this impacts their investigation... they told us they hope this new evidence brings closure to the mcneely family, but didn't mention their investigation. three officers remain on leave right now while that shooting is investigated. lucas: it may just be a matter of months until des moines police have body cams.. lucas: after more than a year of planning, the chief says they're taking an aggressive approach to have them quickly. they've already purchased a server to hold the video files, and have also developed a lengthy policy with rules and regulations. and now the department has set a goal date of this june to have the cameras in place. the equipment will cost more than a million dollars, paid in part by public and private donations. lucas: new this morning...a date has been set for a decision on the bakken pipeline by iowa officials.. lucas: after months of public hearings and researching the project, the iowa utilities board has set a date for giving their final decision.
