let's get started this half hour with the investigation into that deadly shooting incident in kansas. right now it centers around this man, 38-yeaear-old cedric ford who police s say was armed with a high-powered rifle and a pistol when he opened fire late yesterday. >> ford was killed by police after taking thehe lives of three other employees at the workplace they shared. abc's clayton sandell is here in kansas. >> reporter: police say 38-year-old cedric ford started his rampage shooting at random drivers wounding two before heading to excel industries in hesston, kansas where he worked. >> to have something like this is tragic. >> reporter: ford heads inside armed with a rifle and handgun and opepens pe on coworkers. >> and then i seen a mob of people start running out saying run, run. pop, pop, that's all i heard. everybody started scattering out of the building and i didn't wales what happened till i got outside. >> reporter: police and wiesses say ford kept shooting
