weather adlib: we're coming off an extremely warm and gorgeous weekend and while we are going to cool back towards average this week, there is still plenty of warm weather worked into the forecast. today we'll start with mostly clear skies although clouds will be building through the day. it is going to fairly mild and and windy with highs climbing into the mid 50s. tonight we'll be cloudy with plenty of temperatures falling into the upper 20s. rain will move into northern and central iowa early this evening and transition into a wintry mix and then snow by tomorrow morning. roughly 1/2 an inch of snow is expected but it is very unlikely much of it will stick around with ground temperatures being as warm as they are. tuesday other than a few left over early flurries we'll mainly be dry and windy with highs in the low 30s. wednesday is going to be more mild with highs close to 40 and we have another small rain/snow chance on thursday morning. we start warming up again on saturday with highs into the 50s and 60s look to return early
