rain across the area, wind are light and variable. temperatures still way above normal, most of us in the mid-60s. at this point we were seeing the same start over the last week or so. we've been incredibly warm, even at night. we broke another record yesterday with highs around 80. look for a potentially rainy set up for us today. looking at the setup, this is going into the future, this should give you a picture of what is likely to happen for the rest of the day into the newyear's eve forecast, the line of storms lining up across the mountain comes across and sets up for us pretty good rain. i think we will be on the lower end of the spectrum, but a lot of rain for the upstate and charlotte, but we could see downpours today. 63 with a few scattered showers tonight, we stay with the warm air. notice the cool air still coming come but not quite getting here.
