shooting. authorities say... the shooting started saturday night... and spanned three different locations. two victims in that shooting remain in the hospital this morning... including a 14- year-old... listed in critical condition. new details are emerging on the suspected shooter... 45-year-old jason dalton. mobile ride service uber has confirmed that dalton did work for the company. authorities are still working to piece together why dalton targeted the victims. authorities say they have no reason to believe the shootings are terrorism related. dalton is pected to be formally charged today. the islamic state is claiming responsibility for a series of bombings that left 130-dead in syria. isis says its fighters... with suicide vests and car bomb... are responsible for the bloodshed... in the syrian cities of damascus and homs. the bombings highlight the threat posed by the extremists as syria's warring factions fight for the northern city of aleppo and world powers... including the u-s and

main and gervais. committee plans to take a closer look at that greenway project. the committee will also be discussing improvements to clemson road and the sparkleberry lane intersection. the meeting is taking place at 201 arbor lake drive at five-thirty tonight. and the south carolina department of health and environmental control is also holding a meeting today. this is on the permit application for construction of a sewer system in richland county. the meeting is open to the public and is taking place at hopkins park from six-thirty to seven-thirty tonight. dhec will also be accepting written comments from attendees. the deadline to submit your comments is march ninth. and irmo high school is getting artsy this morning... that's right... u-s congressman joe wilson is expected to hold a press conference today to announce a national art competition. the event is being held at irmo high school along saint andrews road... beginning at 12:15.
