that he shot his wife and her lover. as conditions of the bond, he will surrender his passport and be monitored electronically. we have a scam alert to tell you about tonight. the orangeburg sheriff a he officesheriff's office say two men attempted to gain entry into a home using a fake story. deputies say the men pretended to be security alarm sales men claiming to have the authority of the sheriff's office and they were driving in a dark blue lexus and they are described as black males in their 30s. in richland county, deputies are on the lookout for two suspects accused of crashing a stolen vehicle into a patrol car. investigators say at 10:00 this morning, deputies spotted the stolen car on saddle trail road near fairfield. deputies say the suspects jumped out of the moving car that truck the patrol car causing minor damage. a family in oklahoma cities already lost their 6-year-old

brother is fighting the same rare form of cancer. >> hoping to help the situation, oklahoma fire department trying to brighten the little boy's day. kristin shanahan reports. >> of the since he was just -- since he was just 16 months, he's been fighting a rare form of cancer. >> it's a tumor and at at time they found a tumor had engrossed his whole left kidney. he had one in his pelvis and one in his brain. >> reporter: he's gone through chemo and and radiation. after treatment, he was not so happy but that changed when he was met by oklahoma city foofs in this engine. a little hesitant at first, he got in, buckled up and ready to go. with that the siren sounded. [ sirens ] >> reporter: and he was off to the fire station.

>> that was kristin shanahan reporting for us tonight. what an amazing story. got to do the fire hose, get a badge. >> every little boy's dream. it was chilly in the midlands. what can we expect tomorrow morning? >> our chief meteorologist john farley joins us now with a look at the conditions. john? >> for starters, there's no more wind. that's what people have been asking about here. we have the flags across the street at the statehouse. on top of the statehouse, that's high. that's gonna be about as strong as the wind you will find anywhere. what is it, five miles an hour, it's not much. so the wind is gone and staly gone for the next several days. temperatures are falling. already 34 in manning. 35 in saluda. we'll all take a pretty good dive out there. dipping down to freezing or below for all of us, so getting up tomorrow morning if you are an early riser, maybe a jog or something for the morning, it's gonna be cold. we'll see temperatures down around freezing. they won't last there that long. as we go through the day, it will be a nice one.

news at 11:00. tonight is one of those nights where we're reminded that it's still winter. we'll go below freezing for all of us. but it will be sunny tomorrow t temperatures, upper 50s. you had notice a warmup on sunday. we'll get there in a few minutes. let's give you a look in terms of the cold air. here's the forecast for tomorrow morning. look at, basic the entireally the entire u.s. is in blue. most of us will be in the 30s and 20s. now, watch happens as we go through tomorrow morning afternoon, youafternoon, things start to warm up in the plains. we're not in it. it will take until sunday before this whole thing changes. this is really monday afternoon when you see the yellow start to work up into not only the south but into south carolina. so what's the story with this? well, as you no he, it's all about the jet stream and what's mapped over the last couple of

air dip dip down here. it's been with us now. it will stay with us tomorrow. early we'll warm it up. starting on sunday and working into the first couple of days of next week, gonna be very pleasant. we'll see 70s all around. so here we go tonight. we're down to around 30 here in columbia. and meaning some spots will be down to the upper 20s. it will be a pretty chilly night but as we go through the day tomorrow. things will recover nicely by the time we get to the afternoon we'll be in the upper 50s. beautiful day to take in a ballgame. of course, the gamecocks playing host to penn state and here is a look at the temperatures as we work our way through the game. upper 50s. a little wind out of the northwest. that should take care of it. should be a pleasant afternoon. as you see by sunday, we're back in the 70s, courtesy of warmer air coming in 0 out of the south or south of us. as you see, into next tuesday, we're up to the mid-70s.
