in the line of duty. the prince william county police department says 28-year-old ashley guindon was killed when she responded to a call about a domestic-related shooting over the weekend. two other officers were shot and wounded. guindon was just sworn-in to the department on friday. police say an army staff sergeant has been arrested on murder and other charges in the death of officer guindon and another person. 32-year-old ronald hamilton is accused of shooting guindon and the two other officers when they answered a call at his home. police say hamilton also killed his wife. rochelle: back here at home, a berkeley county officer is expected to recover after being shot while on the job. corporal kimber gist was shot during an early morning scuffle with a suspect following a traffic stop. the suspect identified as 36-year-old travis cantelle smith was found dead a short time later in a nearby apartment of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. a go-fund-me account has been

seeing toward the middle of last week where we saw gusts up to 40. we will not see it tomorrow but a little light wind to keep the rain away from us. north carolina nice and dry, south carolina certainly nice and dry. this high pressure system to the south will keep things nice and moderate for us, bring in the warm air from the gulf of mexico but thankfully no moisture to worry about. a cold front around the dallas area but that will skirt to the north and we will see this modify and brick us a chance of rain as we get into wednesday, but today, tomorrow, nothing to worry about, you can see the system starting to build in parts of arkansas and come our way late tuesday into wednesday. so, we have some rain coming our way, but not having to worry about it, no need for the umbrella, maybe the light jacket this morning. certainly want to she'd it later today, we will see a lot of sunshine and warm afternoon. something we haven't seen in combo of late.

1-888-crim-sc. rochelle: turning to vote 2016, no surprises here in south carolina. as expected, hillary clinton won saturday's democratic primary. the former first lady took home 73% of the vote to bernie sanders 26%. there's not much positive news for sanders. according to a new nbc news-wall street journal-marist poll, hillary clinton is far ahead of bernie sanders in three key states voting tomorrow. it shows clinton leading by about two-to-one margins in texas, georgia and tennessee. those three are among 11 states holding their democratic presidential races this tuesday. rochelle: it's a slew of states heading to the polls for super tuesday with 13 contests taking place tomorrow. >> eric: and headed into tomorrow's vote gop front-runner donald trump is clinching his first endorsement from a sitting u.s. senator. alabama senator jeff sessions is throwing his support behind trump. sessions said at a rally in madison that american people want change. the senator is known for his opposition to illegal
