monday night, and the big story on "action news" is breaking news out of northeast philadelphia. police are investigating the attack of a child on the way home from school. the victim is 15 years old. >> "action news" reporter kenneth moton following the big story tonight and kenneth, you've got the latest. >> reporter: brian that teenager was transported to st. christopher's hospital for children to be treated for her injuries. take a look at this scene, right now we see philadelphia police. she was discovered around 8:00 under this guardrail in the wooded area. her parents are by her side at this hour. >> philadelphia police were on the scene looking for clues in the possible sexual assault of a 15 year old northeast philadelphia girl. officers say she was discovered unconscious just off of roosevelt boulevard in a wooded area. on the outskirts of penny pack park. police say the student from the community academy of

philadelphia charter school, still had an uniform on when a passerby spotted her. investigators say the child had bruises on her shoulders and her thighs. when she came too police say she was able to tell them how she was on a crowded septa route 14 bus around 3:00 p.m. she stepped off to let other riders exit when doors closed. she started walking down boulevard when a man tried to talk to her. she ignored him. seconds later she was knocked out from behind. so police say she had a bump on the back have of her head. paramedics transported 159 year-old to st. christopher's hospital for children. her parents reported her missing this evening around 7:00 after they called her cell phone dozens of times with no response. >> it makes you angry. it makes me want to snap. >> reporter: resident who walk this stretch were surprised to hear about the attack. >> you cannot let your children out of your sight, it is just, it is scary this world, it is something else, and it is scary raping a --

raising a child in this day and age. >> reporter: philadelphia police are working with septa we understand they have video of the victim on that route 14 bus. right now the incident is being called an attempted sexual salt until investigators know more. reporting live from northeast philadelphia tonight, kenneth moton for "action news" at ten on p hl17. >> kenneth, thank you. shooting has put a 13 year-old boy in the hospital and likely is an accident. that is according to police investigating on the 3600 block of north marvine street in north philadelphia he was shot in the stomach, around 8:00 o'clock tonight, by a 16 year-old, officers took him to the hospital in a police cruiser. we are awaiting an update on his condition right now. there are no arrests so far. there is now a $40,000 reward, to find out who killed a pregnant woman and her baby. megan doto was shot by a stray bullet sitting outside her home on the 1500 block of adams avenue yesterday. tonight police are calling through surveillance video looking for the the shoot

"action news" reporter dan cuellar is following the search for suspects. >> reporter: with philadelphia police combing the crime scene near corner of park and lehigh across the street buses line up to take kids home, from kipp charter school a school with 360 students grades five through eight. >> it makes me scared. >> reporter: frantic parents rushed to kipp charter after getting word of the shooting. danielle's hall 11 year-old son was in the playground and had to hit a ground when a shooting broke out just before 3:00. >> it is ridiculous. i have to worry about my son, and things like this in the middle of the day. >> reporter: this van park a few feet from the school shows how violent things got. one bullet smashed the side window. another bullet left a big hole on the side of the van before it struck, the driver seat. fortunately, there was no one inside the van. >> it is just crazy.

we've got breaking news in the juniata section of philadelphia, this is the scene from chopper 6hd, over the family tavern at the intersection of east luzerne and bannington streets in the juniata section. police say a man was shot in the chest inside that bar. the suspect last seen on foot, running up the street. we do not have any word on the condition of the victim here or circumstances leading up to this altercation but police as you can see on the scene in the juniata section tonight. police in new jersey have arrested and charged a teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with his student. this is noland johnson. princeton police say the 39 year-old information technology teacher engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with the 16 year-old girl. it allegedly happened numerous times in june, while she was his student at the the hunschool of princeton. johnson has been charged with sexual assault. ray rice is not taking his indefinite suspension sitting down. the fired baltimore ravens

running back says that he will appeal the punishment, handed down after that video surfaced of him showing him knocking out his future wife. and, tonight yet another accusation of child abuse against minnesota vikings running back adrian peterson. mother of another of his four year-old sons is accusing him of leaving a scar on the child's head during a spanking. there are no criminal charges in that incident, but he has been indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury. to 14 year-old son. this was another four year old. a conviction would get him up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine. peterson issued a statement saying i'm not a perfect parent but i am, without a doubt, not a child abuser. my goal, it is always to teach my son right from wrong and that is what i tried to do that day. adrian peterson will make his first court appearance on

tonight the community is rallying around a group of new jersey cheerleaders, they are trying to raise money after they became victims of theft, but police say one of their own is to blame, and sharrie williams joins us live from mount laurel, to tell us how this all happened, sharrie. >> reporter: brian and speaking to the family and also these young girls they had no idea that the money that they have been raising, since december, was being swiped. the case began to unravel when one of the moms came here to the police department, and filed a report that detectives say just didn't add up. >> cheering. >> reporter: cheering their hearts out the new jersey force cheer team is trying to rally a come back. >> our funds are depleted.

>> reporter: thousands of dollars raised by the squad are now gone. stolen police say by one of their own. mount laurel police arrested 44 year-old jeanine hamilton a board member who also has a daughter on the squad. >> we used the money in part to purchase uniforms. it is for practice space, competitions, music. >> reporter: according to investigators hamilton told police her purse was stolen on august 30th and had $5,000 in it. that money, she said, belonged to the cheer association, but police say, hamilton made up the the story and they allege that she stole $9,000 over the last nine months. we tried to speak with hamilton tonight but no one came to the door. now, this young, cheer leading team is trying to replace the money. they held a fundraiser at rita's water ice in marlton trying to turnaround a bad situation. >> we're here to support or new jersey force. >> it is very important especially with everything going on and i just hope it
