sharrie. >> reporter: shirleen and brian, there are a lot of questions tonight. the mission of that dallas hospital, of course, and its staff toys prevent this from spreading. seventy staff members at texas health presbyterian hospital were involved in caring for thomas duncan and tonight, one nurse is confirmed to have the virus, ebola and there is concern there could be more. working on the front lines to save others, nurse tina pam is being cared for. the 26 year-old is the first american infected with ebola while on u.s. soil. >> she is a person that is dealing with this, with a heroic and graceful spirit. she's incredibly concerned. we're all incredibly concerned. >> reporter: the dallas hospital now caring for one of their own, she's in isolation. she was part of the team who treated thomas duncan, he died from the virus last week. each day, she suited up head to toe, a gown, face mask and shield, two layers of gloves

and shoe covers. some protection but not as much as hospitals that specialize in bio containment which has chemical resistant jump suits. they take the gloves to the sleeves and suits to the boots. >> if this one individual was infected and we don't know how, within the the isolation unit, then it is possible that other individuals could have been infect as well. >> reporter: hospitals here closer to home are also making preparations. virtua's four hospitals in south jersey are now meeting three times a week to discuss ebola procedures. >> we're spend ago lot of time making sure people understand the signs, symptoms, policies, procedures and protocol for treatment. >> reporter: meanwhile the local liberian community in philadelphia has stepped up its effort to ship supplies to the hot zone in west a africa. >> member members of my congregation, the lost a couple of family members. from the start when we heard news we had to do something. >> reporter: is there word tonight that sam has received a blood transfusion from

doctor kent brantly. you will remember he is the american who came down with ebola while in west africa and is now doing well. they hope his plasma can build up antibodies inside of her immune system. the meanwhile her dog, bentley, is also being quarantined tonight because there is concern that she, of course, came in contact with her dog. brian? >> all right, sharrie, thanks very much. gunfire, brought philadelphia police to the northeast philadelphia barber shop tonight. just about an hour ago shop tonight. just about an hour ago officers found a three castor's finest barber shop were four gunshot wounds, one grace wound to his head. it had happened here on the 7100 block of castor avenue. police are now looking for two suspects. >> we don't know motive of the shooting but we do know that the shooting took place, inside of the barber shop, and the three three-year old victim is the owner on have this barber shop. >> victim was taken to aria torresdale hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.

police hope nearby businesses will have surveillance video of the shoot hours took off on the foot. a patrolling officers just happened upon a shooting scene in chester delaware county tonight. he made three arrests at ninth and yarnel street for a trio had been shooting at two other men. one victim was critical when medics transported him to the hospital. the other was in stable condition. there is little less of the row home that burned in clifton heights, delaware county, and as authorities try to determine what caused it, people inside when the flames broke out are trying to recover from the injuries that they suffered. that is word from the officials investigating at bucks county dancer center, patrolling police spotted flames right around 4:00 o'clock this morning. the once crews put that fire out, an arson dog was brought in and detect accelerant in the back of the dance studio. owners are currently looking for a new location to allow their 200 student to continue taking classes. it could be a few fog issues with your morning commute but that is going to give way to a summer-like afternoon. meteorologist adam joseph had has details from accu weather, for the ladder half. >> that umer-like feeling tomorrow afternoon. big improvement from the morning to the afternoon but right now on double scan live radar we don't have have heavy rain around the region or steady rain but there is some mist and drizzle to the north and west of philadelphia and where we have the low clouds, and some of that mist, we have visability that are dropping fast as you walk away from philadelphia, when we have great visibility a at 10 miles. then we will heat century

montgomery, bucks, chester county and it drops between 1 mile and half mile visibility in lancaster. so low lying fog to the north and west. this is the zone early tomorrow morning but we could see some of those morning commute problems with the low clouds and still some drizzle in the lehigh valley. sunshine is already returning to the south and east, and that will flood to the north and west in the afternoon tomorrow, as the sunshine goes into control, and we will just see a few puffy clouds in the afternoon. with that being said, and that sunshine returning we will go into the upper 70's for highs tomorrow above normal, closing in close to 80 in allentown, 78 in reading, 76 in millville and mid 70's at the shore and trenton where we're on the verge of that 80 degrees. you will note that is summer-like humidity as well. when i come back we will talk about how long heat and humidity will stick around and we are tracking big storm in the midsection of the country and when it pulls through here, coming up in that accu weather forecast.
