air rifle. >> when you point a rifle at a deputy, you are unfortunately going to get shot and killed. >>reporter: but a lawyer for the mcbean f fily says the lawyer tells a different story. >> since that day under oath is that that air gun never moved from behind mr. mcbean's head. >>reporter: then there's this troubling photo of mcbean's body on the ground. if you take a closer look, you see he's wearing what appears to be ear buds, evidence some say prohibited him from hearing police commands. we know he's been suspended without pay pending the outcome of this investigation. for now reporting in ft. lauderdale, i'm andrew perez, local 10 news. a girl is under arrest after police say she stabbed a student on a school bus. a teen boy was stabbed

an unidentified girl has been charged in this crash. a masked man jumps a downer, empties two registers on west sunrise boulevard. detectives say he should be considered armed and dangerous. a knife-wielding robber leaves a smoothie shop operator shaken. he walks in, threatens a worker with a knife and threats her to open the cash register. he grabs hununeds of dollars and took off. if you know anything about either of these robberies, call crimestoppers. disturbing and tearful calls to 911 are being heard for the very first time after a murder-suicide took place on new year's day. a former boston market manager shot t t people before he turned the gun on himself. carlosuarez is in tamarac with those calls

a texas state trooper who arrested sandra bland last summer fired yesterday after being indicted for allegedly lying to a grand jury. brand was pulled over for an improper lane change and then she was arrested for assault. her case attracting nationwide atttion after she was found dead in her jail three days later. the official cause of the death ruled a suicide. the former president of the broward's teachers' union continues today. in total he's accused taking $300,000. meanwhile the defense blames it all on discrepancies, bookkeeping and a lack of management skills. i hate it break it to you but you probably already know, that monster power ball jackpot still up for grabs. nobody had a winning ticket in last night's half a billion dollar
