up to theow 90s. we've already seen showers movie into portions of weston, portions of miramar. let's get you guys i-95 southbound as you're heading into miami this morning and we're looking great on your commute. miami-dade county has a few accidents. our southbound lanes right here. as you can see there's that exit sign there if you're trying to head over to the airport expressway or maybe heading over to the beaches. no accidents there but an earlier crash off of ives dairy road also clearing up. also a secondary crash at i-95 southbound at hallandale beach boulevard also clearing up as well. so looking fantastic there. our major trouble spot this morning is the location where erica rakow is live. this is off of southwest third avenue at 13th street. a really bad crash there. one person's passed away. several cars caught on fire. we do know police and fire rescue crews are there at that location. now back to that

of course we've been talking about it all morning long. a fiery crash near brickle. it appears a driver lost control of their car and the video recorded offnight of that scene. >> erica rakow is at that scene. tell us what happened here. >>reporter: there is no doubt that this driver was speeding. that's what traffic homicide investigators say. i just spoke with one. they believe this drive was going 100 miles per hour, maybe even faster of they hit this wall and the car burst into flames. that vehicle also hitting several other cars that were parked along the street. crews are towing those right now. you can see the other car parked here badly damaged by that fire. look at the video right here. you can see the flames. it's just moments after the lexus, the car that lost control, hit the wall and caught fire.

had hit a curb, went air born before it crashed in those parked cars and the wall. just a little while ago crews loaded up the burned-out lexus on to a tow truck. the driver is still trapped inside. it will be brought to the medical examiner's office. they have already identified this person. they say they are preparing to g speak to that person's family. they were apparently heading northbound here on southwest third avenue when they hit a curb. investigators believe maybe the tire popped and the drive jusus lost control. no one else was injured. as i mentioned, several cars were also damaged. spoke with one man who bought one of those cars two days ago. next step is for investigators to speak with the person's family members. we're hoping to get ahold of that after the family was notified. he can earthquake, local 10 news. >> thank you so much. we'll keep in touch with you all morning long. we have a safety

the entire thing caught on that dash camera video. police tried to close down traffic when the 56-year-old allegedly refused to pull over. when he did stop police say they found alcohol in his car. he was charged with d.u.i. and fleeing from police. miners trapped underground. this is the scene, they are all safe this morning. the workers became trapped by the five foot six elevator as it gun their shift on wednesday night. it took them ten hours to get to safety. temperatures were dropping to about 20 degrees. investigators believe a beam that keeps the elevator car aligned either bent or broken. this is the deepest salt mine in north america. new this morning the fbi has made terror-related arrests in two different states. we'll start off in

broward, we've got a new crash to get to. 595 on the approach to university drive. west-bound is typically where we don't see a lot of congesting. folks are zooming by without any issue. an accident well off to the shoulder there. that's why we're not seeing any delays. this earlier crash from overnight, this where erica rakow live off of southwestern avenue right in between 12th and 13th street. we've got some lane closures there. that water main break off 71st street. eastbound-west-bound lanes shut down between fifth court and fifth avenue but police are rerouting traffic off to 72nd street. back to that breaking news near brickle. sky 10 flying over the scene where a driverr was killed in a fiery crash overnight. it appears the driver went airborne after losing control of his vehicle. erica rakow is at the scene. erica, what do we know?

active considering this is a death investigation. >>reporter: right, jacey. investigators say the driver of this car was speeding, going 100 miles per hour or more when they lost control. they were heading north here on southwest third street, hit a curb, popped a tire and then look at this. this right here is video from a phone that somebody took. the lexus smashed into a parked car and cement wall below an apartment complex and it burst into flames. the person who hit this video, they hit an explosion. these are some pictures of the aftermath. after firefighters arrived on scene, you can see the lexus that crashed, ended up on top of another car that was parked along the street. three other cars also parked were damaged but no one else was injured. investigators had the burned-out lexus towed away from here this morning. the driver of it died immediately. they are still trapped inside that car.

avenues are shut down. we are told by cops in the area here that the area should reopen at some point this afternoon. reporting live in miami, sanela sabovic, local 10 news. and now to a one and only exclusive, the autopsy for the 2013 deputy-involved shooting death of jermaine mcbean has been released. mcbean was carrying an ire rifle when he was shot multiple times by the deputy. he claims he pointed the gun at him. lawyers say the autopsy disproves those claims. if he were facing him, you would expect to see some markings on the arms and stock of the gu itself and straight through the crest. >>reporter: the defense insists he ordered him to put down the gun and had no choice but to open fire. the family claims the 33-year-old was wearing ear bud headphones and could not hear those commends.

onshore over portions of the west coast of south florida and now moving inland over the everglades. weston, pembroke pines, 75. we'll see some light to moderate rain. we saw some showers over portions of the middle keys and that will continue to lift towards the northeast. throughout the later half of the morning into the afternoon all of this rain will be head order way. keep the umbrella handy. make sure the kids have a poncho and rain gear. they are going to need it.we'll have yet another system that's going to move in for the weekend. this system over new rockies. before this morning though we're going to increase that chance of showers hour until hour until be get to about 4:00. here it comes as it does so we'll be dry saturday morning. we'll increase the rain chances by saturday night and going into sunday we will see that chance of showers and storms until the front clears. sunday will be the wetter of the two days temperature warm.

highs in the low 80s. once the front clears though, happy to tell you temperatures will drop down low 60s, maybe upper 50s by wednesday morning. i-95 southbound in broward county we have reports of a broken down car right off of sterling road. our southbound lanes are here in the distance. it's not affecting traffic at all and it's well off to the shoulder. even our traffic data here is not showing any delays at all. just want to make sure you're aware of that it. traveling west-bound at 595 and university drive we have a little fender-bender there. again affecting our west-bound lanes not going to be affecting traffic with 66 miles per hour. it's the eastbound lanes this we're often concerned about, especially with all that congestion early in the morning. traveling down south. another reminder in the area of brickle. we still have that accident scene in its clearing stages between 13th and 12th street and
