the country club along northwest 41st street. police tell us that's where four people indeed the car when it crashed right into the lake. they are still trying to figure out how that truck driver crashed. >> we do have some witness that's were on the scene. one of them happened to be the individual that was on the embankment and did make contact with our partners at the fire department. so my investigators are speaking to him at length at this point. it's very early in the investigation. >> the car has been towed out of the lake and we're waiting for an update from police to find out the victim's identities. we'll bring you more as soon as we get it. police are searching for shooters after aville weekend in miami. three different shootitis left two people dead and one condition. one of those killed just 15 years old. ben keedy joins us live this morning from jackson memorial hospital. those victims continues to fight for his life. ben? >>reporter: the one victim that

condition right here behind me at ryder trauma at jmh. two others lost their life including a teen. let's take to you that first scene in overtown. it is there that this cell phone video shows the victim on the ground in pain taken to ryder trauma in critical condition. that's where we are live this morning. 20 minutes later a second shooting, this timeme in liberty city. 15-year-old alder hill was shot and killedn a vacant field, then two hours passed and officer get a call of the third shooting. 21-year-old leonard was hit and died at the scene. it is not clear if the crimes are connected. it is now clear the motive behind these shootings. no one has been arrested in either cases. reporting live in miami,

this happened on saturday. the weather service has confirmed a tornado pack winds up to 135 miles per hour tore through cape coral. governor rick scott toured some of the areas on sunday afternoon. police estimate the damage at $200 million. scott says he would make sure the city got help as needed. >> i remember all through school we would have to go to the became the school because we'd have tornados alerts and our neighborhood got hit by tornados. our house never did. it was a pretty scary fortunately, in th case of a hurricane, we have a little bit of notici. >> three people were hurt but they all should be okay. good morning, south florida. the sweaters. temperatures have dropped down into those upper 50s for broward county. beach. that's nice but, yes, sweaters. 61 degrees from hialeah to miami.

quicklyly get's get to i-75. only going to take you 14 minutes. average speed about 58 miles per hour. we have to bring you breaking news right now. iconic singer david bowie has passed away at the age of 9. his hits includes space oddity, let's dance and fame. the news of his death comes as a shock with his spokesperson saying theinger died of cancer and when i diagnosis wasn't even announced until now. the singer's spokesperson released a statement saying bowie died peacefully surrounded by his family after tha 18 month old battle with cancer. on his birthday this past friday he released a new album called black star. his son tweeted out this photo of him and his father together. he wrote quote very sorry and sad to say it's true. i'll be offline for a while. love to all.

pulled from a golf club lake. >> two people were killed. one other person is in critical condition this morning. local 10 news reporter m.j. acosta joins us live from laudedeill with the latest. >>reporter: jacey and eric, crews working late into sunday night to get that water out of that can. now investigators trying to piece all of this together trying to figure out how two people ended up dead and the car ended up in the canal. authorities say a car crashed mood a small bought of water. lauderhill fire rescue confirming to local 10 say they spoke to one person inside the car. the other three passengers were taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition. two of those victims died. >> we do have some witnesses on the scene. one of them happened to be the individual on the embankment. so my investigators are

a vacation for some rv owners ending in destruction. this happened in clearwater, westf tampa. firefighters were able to contain the flames to keep them from spreading. all of those rvs destroyed. the fire ruled an accident because of an electrical issue. police are investigating after the former home ofa police officer charged with murder set on fire in south carolina. it's unknown wheree's living right now but officials say the fire appears to be an isolated incident. >> we are not concerned about ourselves. we are concerned about our student. >> students in detroit will not be in class today because teachers are holding a sick-out. a special alert went out last night letting people know detroit public schools will not be opened today.

florida behind this front. high pressure building in across the southeast. that's helping for that northerly wind across south florida. meanwhile it's pretty quiet right now across the nation but there is a small, little low developing right over the midwest and northern plains. this is going to amplify or strengthen and just swing through across the midwest and great lakes. that's why there's more snow expected for areas of the midwest and even ohio could see some snow later today. it's zero degrees in chicago. 40 degrees in seattle and 51 in san francisco. you head to the east coast at 30 degrees weather. but then atlantas in the 20s right now this morning. so well below freezing. for us it's a breezy day. north winds 10 to 15 miles per hour. clouds this morning. we'll see a little bit of sunshine here and there. for the most part it will stay partly to mostly cloudy skies. we're in the low 60s in miami-dade.
