for you in pompano beach. these temperatures are anywhere between three, four and six degrees cooler than what we woke up to yesterday abd things are only going to get colder by tonight into tomorrow. this morning we'll stay cool and wet throughout the morning. those clouds will linger. then by around 2:00 this afternoon we will see some gradual clearing and that will allow for our temperatures to really dip. we're expecting our highs today to reach only the 70s. you're going to need those sweaters and jackets all day long. rain moving onshore from the gulf of mexico, getting soaked over portions of the alligator alley. coral springs, several portions of miccosukee. we are finally seeing a break over southern miami-dade. more rain over key west into marathon and those showers will linger. plenty of available moisture over the gulf of mexico that will keep us wet at least for the next eight or 12 hours. miami-dade police, they are investigating

shootings last night. ofcers put out several evidence markers. we are told two people are shot here, one of the victims hit in the shoulder, the other in the ankle. our cameras were rolling as police continue their shooting investigation near 129th street and northwest 18th court. it's not clear how many people were hurt in the scene. officers tell us there was also a drive-by. police trying to figure out if these shootings are connected. also this morning we're learning moree about the people trapped inside a car after a watery wreck. we now know two of the passengers were brothers. >> only the vehicle's driver survived this week. >> in louder shill where we find local 10 news reporter victor oquendo. >>reporter: ever since the crash friends and family have been passing by the devastating scene where three people died. the passengers inside

brothers, 22-year-old shaquel, 24 and 25-year-old nag nathaniel. he and shaquel both leave family behind. >> dedicated brothers. >>reporter: cops were called out to the area around 8:00 sunday night. >> the car when we originally got here was in the water. >>reporter: they found the car's driver desean prince safely on the water's edge before making it o. he told investigators three people were stuck inside. >> our fire people went into rescue mode and went insidehe water and we were able to retrieve three victims from inside the vehicle. >> we're coping. we're trying to cope. >>reporter: initially the youngest victim, 14-year-old tie reese survived but died in the hospital early monday morning. signs of what went wrong remains as family members search for

and there's still no official word on what led up to the crash. we're told that investigators are working closely with the driver. he is cooperating and helping them sort this whole thing out. in lauderhill, i'm victor oendo, local 10 news. this morning we're hearing the 911 cl federal a father whose car was stolen last week who had a six-year-old daughter inside. >> i have an emergency. someone just stole my car with my daughter in the car. i had the car off and it was a push start car. i ran right in the gas station it, parked right in front of the door. like right in front of the car. >> it happened in coral springs at a gas station on west sample road. after the robber realized she was in the back seat, she was dropped off nearly two miles away. that thief is still on the run this morning. the search is on for

it happened at the cb wireless store in north miami. witnesses say an employee was attacked by two robbers inside. shirley gzalez, a friend of the victim, say friends from a nearby barbershop came to help of they heard the commotion. >> when they opened the door, it was these two guys, young guys, beating him pretty bad. >> gonzalez says this is the fourth time the robbers have hit that store just in the past year. police searching this morning for a man caught on surveillance video breaking into a barack obama smoke shop. this happened early this morning at the holy smoke smoke shop. gordie perez who owned the shop said while no electronics were taken, the thief did do some damage. >> this all comes marriaging down.

did get away with some cash. the shop has only been opened for two months. a robber wearing a shirt over his face when he pulled out a gun and demanded cash from a clerk. police say he got $500 and took off. you can't see the man's face. he has distinctive tattoos. a trio of shootings in miami leaving three people dead including a 15-year-old. here's local 10 news anchor schwarzenegger in miami. >>reporter: three shootings in the span of three hours on saturday left two dead including a teen. candles left in the spot in miami. it's where police say 15-year-old alder hill's life was cut short. the shootings once again led miami-dade school superintendent alberto carvalho to talk about

the fbi looking for a bank robber after he escaped on a bicycle. the fbi says he entered the bank, he showed a weapon and demanded money from a worker. after he got the cash authorities say the robber hopped on a bike to pedal away. if you have any information on who this man is, please call police. a taxi driver released from the hospital after being shot and robbed at a miami gas station. here' surveillance video capturing that robbery back on january third. happening on northwest 12th avenue and 28th street in miami. pena still recovering but he says he is ready to get back to work. >> i feel fine with me, with the hospital. i have three kids. from my kid, from my wife and for me. >> pena not able to walk yet. doctors say he could have nerve damage. seven people recovering this morning after a bus collided with a trolley in ft. lauderdale yesterday.

it this morning. some wet roadways out there. temperatures right now in the upper 50s i i miami as well as ft. lauderdale. 67 degrees in key west. a northwest wind anywhere between six and ten miles per hour and that's what's bringing us that cooler air that we're feeling this morning. again, not an arctic chill but definitely cooler than what we woke up to yesterday. attempt in the upper 50s for you in pembroke pines. 58 in kendall. 64 in marathon. so the breeze out of the north will continue that cool air connection and basically that's going to provide for very cool afternoon as well. we've got temperatures this morning anywhwhe between two and five degrees cooler than what we woke up to yesterday. here's the setup. it does come with theener level winds moving in from the southwest and that's where we're seeing some lingering showers this morning. panhandle waking up to colder air. check out these showers

we are seeing heavy rain overortions of broward right over the everglades, i-95, 75, the sawgrass right over 595, u.s.-1 all soaked this morning. more showers over portions of hialeah, weston, miramar. pembroke pines as well and then some showers lingering down by the keys. we'll continue to see these speedy showers moving in from the southwest to the northeast. due to aulprit of that stalled-out frontal boundary down byy the florida keys and florida straits. so once all this rain scoots towards the east, high pressure's going to build d that will provide for a dry, stable atmosphere tonight into tomorrow. check out all the snow falling right now over the greatakes. our friends across the northeast will see their first bit of snow and they are going to see temperatures very frigid. these are the actual temperatures, feels-like temperatures well below zero for much of the nation. check it out from coast to coast. we have temperatures in

lost control when it been over a speed bump. no word this morning on the passengers' condition. crews working to repair a water main break after it created a sink hole. look at this. it's in wichita, kansas. 16 businesses are being impacted by that break. authorities have not figured out what caused the ground to open up. but developing this morning four people have been killed after a house exploded in north eastern ohio. the victims have not been identified yet but neighbors say this explosion shook their homes around 8:30 last night. we still don't know what caused the blast. working on the tallest building in downtown houston when this accident happened. crews were able to rescue the men. tonya couch, the mother of the so-called affluenza teen now has a sharply reduced bond.
