it's been a historic presidency for mr. obama. his first address to congress, his final address on the state of the union. tonight we're looking back at this president's evolution. here's abc's terry moran. >> the president of the united states. >> reporter: for the last time barack obama heard that famous shouted announcement as he strode into the house chamber to give his state of the union address. it's startling now to think back. i first met the then senator obama in cleveland all of the way back in 2006. back then, they were naming babies after him in iowa. >> how are you? >> he's so cute. >> this is baby barack right here. >> and right now you're on a roll. obama mania, they call it.

these, with ten sailors aboard are being held by iran. the ships were traveling from kuwait when they disappeared from the navy scopes. >> we have received assurances from the iranians both that our sailors are safe. >> the white house insisting the nine men and one woman are safe. u.s. secretary of state john kerry making the case there was a mechanical issue, and at least one of the boats drifted into iranian territorial waters. but an iranian news agency is claiming that ten sailors were quote snooping and they have actually been arrested. this is the latest incident with iran that has ramped up tensions in the persian gulf, last month, the iranian navy launched rockets, just 1500 yards from a u.s. aircraft carrier. in 2007, the iranians held british sailors for 13 days. despite early claims they'd be released right away. >> we are told the sailors are

the others. >> that's right. >> february 1st. >> all right. >> we know you will be on top of it, meaeaime, a pair of hollywood schools put on lock down, what a scare for paren and kids. after a handgun was found in the middle school, and the weapon brought to school by a student. tonight two classmates are under arrest. local 10 newe reporter joins us live from hollywood with the latest, andrew. police believe this gun was stolen and they are trying to figure out where they even got the gun, kids at school they saw them handling it and quickry notified law enforcement. >> hollywood police move in on a middle school, getting reports of a weapon on cpus, some parents start to panic. >> my kid is in there. the students inside told to stay in their classrooms. >> i was scared. >> why? >> i didn't know what was happening. >> after a sweep of t(e area, authorities told us they located

under a portable late in the day, police say a student brought the handgun, showed it to anonher student and then tried to hide it as word got around. >> discover add weapon on campus. it was discovered to be a reel weapon, and two students were questioned for their involvement. >> did you bring the gun? >> late in the night we saw people leaving the school, covering their faces, detectives remains on the scene, police would soon charge two students at the middle school with possession of a firearm, and we have learned that gun was stolen. authorities investigating where this gun came from. >> now police say that at some point today, both students were handling that weapon, that's why they are both currently charged with possession of a firearm, on school property. local 10 news. >> okay, thanks a lot, and it happened again, another break in at a davey sport shop.

confirmed that yet. police releasing video of a store owner being beaten and robbed by two men. this shows the men beating and pistol whipping that store owner. it all happened at c.b. wireless. and 7th avenue, the m m escaped with cash, and they are still out there on the run, detectives believe the pair may be responsible for other robberies in the area, so if you have any information on who those men are, please, call police. >> two suspects now facing charges after police chased them down after a burglary. there is the video, and the police activity it happened in the area, of 90 ate terrace and fourth street. neighbors say they spotted the men before chasing them. 17-year-old was then arrested. the second suspect is 23-year-old, deputies chased him down on west park while driving the stolen car. witnesses say they spotted him

west end, more like 54 in hollywood. miami how about 55 degrees, redland can land around 50-degrees with a few clouds around, and then some lower 60s as we look from the middle e wn to the upper keys. so the cool air is already here but on the other hand we do have these high clouds stretching in. helping to keep the warm, the minor warm we got through the day, at the surface we have our windss flowing in from the northwest. that will allow for more chilly air, and it is cold. we are tapping some colder air. look at thth temperatures in central florida. and the north florida, jacksonville at 36 degrees. all bundled up in that blanket, 35 the temperature there, they are under a freeze watch, bottoming out by tomorrow morning, not going to be quite that dramatic here, but we are

get off to a chilly start. and we will see if the temperatures are the coldest we have felt so far this season. bottom line is it is going to be chilly in the morning, we will still have the southwesterly flow in place, that means the clouds will be around. in fact, a lot of the time, and then by thursday, another disturbance make as run at us so we reintroduce a better chance for rain. tomorrow, though, it is mainly dry, your biggest concern is how will i stay warm. if i am standing at the bus stop with all these kids 55-degrees is where we will start, and then highs climbing to the lower 70's. this is when we bring the reindeer back into play. by saturday, we can have some highs in the lower 80's. as the next cold front approaches back to sweater
