where we're heading as we get closer to the weekend. >> betty: a few ups and downs. it's a roller coasters, and enjoy the dry weather for now because we're going to introduce rain tomorrow, and we're also introducing temperatures that are a lot milder, and you're probably noticing that outside right now. even this morning fort lauderdale started started at 61. somehow miami managed to drop down to 54 degrees so you probabab did need the sweater for a little while but right now everyone from the lower 70s, including pompano beach where it's 72. the forecast f the evening, pretty tame. mostly cloudy skies, lingering clouds by 8:00 tonight. that and with our winds eventually starting to become southeasterly should help to keep the temperatures up so by 8:00 upper 60s, truly tolerable deference as we're heading through the overnight. right now we're starting to see our winds becoming south easterly in fort lauderdale, also miami. those winds sustained around 13 miles an hour. increasing some clouds, some high cloudiness flowing in in the mid tower level. you can see those on the cloud

southwest but all eyes on this low pressure system that has the potential to produce some severe weather for the lower mississippi river valley. thus, a tornado watch in effect for that region. we're going to track this system overnight into tomorrow, and it will start to make for some snow in portions of mid-atlantic as we're getting into the weekend but for now the big threat is the rainfall along the gulf coast at the time potential for that severe weather but look at the wirt weather watches,, watches and warnings lined up from memphis to the mid long, washington, dc, blizzard warning going into effect starting morrow afternoon. so some one to two feet of snow still in the forecast for some of those areas. right here at home, the tail end of that front is going to sweep our area. it brings the potential for rain. won't rule out a few gusty storms, i should say, tomorrow. right now it doesn't appear as though severe weather is in the cards for us. the front sweeps through friday night, even behind it we may have a few showers early
