stealing electricity. it happened along northwest second avenue. six people were also arrested on several charges. police are are now looking if the people living at the homes were legal renters or squatting. >> a miami police officer is stabbed in the face, trying to remove a man from the magic city casino. officer raul perez was stabbed when staff asked for help to remove a belligerent man that's when witnesses say a struggle begain, and the man stabbed perez in the face, narrowly missing the officers eye, perez fired his gun in response, striking the suspect, and we are told perez was treated at the hospital and released while the suspect is still hospitalized. a traffic nightmare, earlier tonight, hopefully you didn't get caught in this at rush hour. a two car crash shutting down all the southbound lanes. the crash happened in an area of heavy construction right near the parkway. traffic was snarled for hours, but it is moving again.

in the morning there can be a few showers out there. also following this line of storms moving into the panhandle. notice pensacola, as this line approaches so conditions favorable for tornadoes to develop. this is all being kicked off by the same low pressure system that's going to bring the snow into the midtlantic, now the snow event has not started yet, but we will be tracking this system as it creeps up to the mid atlantic, and eventually that hjts that cold air, and the snow will fly. so by this time tomorrow night, the radar is going to look very interesting, around the carolinas and certainly around washington, d.c. let's talk about our end of the system, because the trailing end f it brings us the potential for rain, but notice the storm predictions center, showing that we are in the green and that means a marginal risk for any

not huge, but we will be here tracking any showers across the area. we show you this forecastodel, notice it is painting an east southeast wind. the potential for a few showers to move across, and then as the cold front approaches it is showing more rain, potentially gathering and rolling across portions of the keys miami dade and broward, around 3:00 tomorrow, maybe a tiny little band of showers as well. we will track it as whatever is left of it comes across miami dade. saturday night, we get into a northwest wind, and by a sunday morning, you are going to feel it big time. in the mid atlantic, going for two feet, hope you don't have any plans to head in that direction, if you are stang

>> a taxi exploding in quincy massachusets parking lot caught on camera. take a look at those. the elderly passenger were able to get out of the cab before those explosions. there's no word yet on what caused the cab to catch fire. >> anchor: caught on camera, a two-year-old running in the middle of this busy highway, in oregon, a deputy spotted the child and stopped his cruise tore pick him up. look at this. and then just moments later deputy finds the child's frantic parent whose were searching for him. police say the child slipped out through an open door and ran straight to the highway while the parents were cleaning up after gathering in a nearby community. >> anchor: and caught on camera, a rough confrontation between a student and security guards after he was called to the principal's office, video shows 16-year-old being forced around the corner, by the guards out of the view of the camera here, that's when he says they handcuffed him, he was being accused of selling drugs at school and carrying a handgun. this is still under investigation.
