are in the low to mid 70s ahead of this cold front. currentlu 72 degrees in pembroke pines. 71 in homestead. definitely warmer. it will be wetter. it will be definitely windy as we get through the morning. temperatures will be in the mid 60s around 6:00. make sure you have the rain gear. you're definitely going to need it today. we're going to see downright stormy conditions. wet and w wdy throughout the afternoon. the cold front clears by about 8:00 tonight and then drier, comfortable conditions will be in place. until then a cluster of showers headed your way down by homestead. i'll have more of when the rain's going to move into miami-dade and broward coming up. >> all right, julie. a grandmother walking to her car, not knowing she was being targeted. >> a criminal ends up carjacking her but it did not end there.

only on local 10. >>reporter: a criminal quickly sets his sights on an 82-year-old grandmother. she has no idea she's ing followed until it's too late. the guy grabs her keys. >> people are getting hurt because they are fighting back. she didn't fight back. she did exactly what she was told. >>reporter: in fact, she walks away calmly. only looks back once. r name is edith.her grandson says she didn't deserve this. >> she's very calm, cool and collected. >>reporter: she stopped for a foot massage after northeast 163rd street in north miami beach. the guy took her car with everything in it. >> my first concern was my grandmother was safe. >>reporter: she was and she called for safe as the suspect started using her head around town. her family says they are

call, give them a call. derek shore, local 10 news. three people behind bars for allegedly stealing electricity it. happened in miami. we're told the suspects use a stolen meter box to steal power. ju the day before six other people were arrested at that very same location on several charges including burglary and illegal possession of weapons. a miami police officer is recovering this morning after he was stabbed in the face at the magic city casino. officer raul perez was trying to kick out a belligerent man out of that casino when tnesses say a struggle started. this is what the an allegedly stabbed him in the face, barely missing his eye. he was treed for his injuries and released while the suspect is still in the hpital. a traffic nigigmare last night in miramar, a two-car car shutting down all the southbound lanes of i-75. that crash happened in the area of heavy constructionight near

details coming up next. a taxi exploding in a quincy, massachusetts parking lot. all of this caught on camera. look at those flames. the elderly passenger and driver were able to get out of that cab before it exploded. we don't know what caused the cab to expire. >> that's scary. a two-year-old, a two-year-old child running in the middle of a busy highway. this is in oregon. a deputy spotted the child and stopped to pick him up. police say that child slipped out through an open door, ran straight on to the highway. as a parent this is scary to see. the parents were cleaning up after a gathering. no charges were filed. they were frantic. a florida homeowner came across an unwelcomed guest in his swimming pool. yeah, it's a crocodile. this eight foot croc was found floating around.
