waking up to the 40s sunday morning, i loved it. now early this morning, dark out there of course and temperatures once again falling into the 40s at least for much of browa county. as you can see 48 degrees from pompano beach down to pembroke pines, even ft. lauderdale. and then we see the 50 degrees in miami. 45 though in kendall. that's the coolest spot. even the 50s down into the keys. winds are still out of the normal, turning more out of the northeast fof the keys. eventually that east wind will be back later this afternoon. that's going to play a role in warming us up rather quickly. for now it is nice and clear all across the sunshine state. we'll have lots of is up. then we'll be talking about this next system right here, and this is going to help to bring another developing low over the gulf towards south florida later this week. but for this morning, it's a chilly start, heading out to work early today. take the sweaters would

people across the northeast are trying to get back top normal after a blizzard paralyzed parts of the country. at least 30 deaths being blamed on this blizzard. the snowfall is historic. a lot to talk about. carlos suarez shows us more. >>reporter: tonight millions of americans are digging out from all that snow. a bird's eye view from this drone flying high abovov baltimore showing the monstrosity ofnow. western pennsylvania feeling the effects of a winter wollup was authorities scrambled to open a section of the pennsylvania turnpike near pittsburgh where hundreds ofars were left stranded. new jersey also getting slammed. the issue flooding. chunks of ice and water flooding the streets. a mom and her young son killed by carbon monoxide. >> i try and try, and the paramedic try and try.

the winds will eventually turn@ out of the east and that will help bring about t t warmup in theext couple of days. no rain, no clouds. looks like there's some low clouds over the water though. could be some fog. otherwise it is nice all across the sunshine state and mainly all across the east coast as well as high pressure has built across the eastern u.s., now pulling away off the coast, off the midatlantic coast. this is going to swing across the eastern u.s. that trailing cold front will eventually arrive into the gulf of mexico by tomorrow, later tomorrow, and thehe we're going to see a low develop on the tail-end of that front. current temperatures nationwide, we're seeing a lot of cold statements out there. 32 in denver. 19 in new york city. here 50 degrees. chilly start but then
