first, disturbing video of a hit and run in miami. several people hurt, climbing in to a car when an suv slams in to them. the video at times is difficult to watch. we're hearing from one of the victims. local ten news reporter is live in miami with the story. michael? >>reporter: talk about a tough day for the first time since that terrifying night. all five victims getting a chance to see that surveillance video and all this happening while police prepare to make an arrest. a new look at a terrifying moment. the impact so violent some o o the victims went flying. >> i had just put my feet in -- >>reporter: 25-year old frank speaking with us from her hospital bed, sharing these painful photos of her legs. some of the injuries she suffered in saturday's hit-and-run crash involving this mercedes suv.

over my back. i got my toes broke00 my right foot. >>reporter: it was supposed to be a night of fun, a birthda celebration, but the evening took a tragic turn when she and four of her friends became victims after they stopped at this liquor store on northwest 17th avenue in miami's liberty city neighborhood. >> as they were putting their legs in the car smashes from the back. >>reporter: she's seen running from the car. her boyfriend suffered minor injuries, still shaken by what happened. >> are you surprised you're standing here? >> yeah, i'm kind of shocked. it happened so fast. >>reporter: this couple considers themselves the lucky ones. the driver is now recovering at home. 21-year old fran brown is being monitored by doctor her mother said she could be hospitalized for more than a week. >> she flew up in the air and came back wn.

construction crews removed the last pieces of a crane that collapsed, k kling one person. the 565-foot-long was cut in to 35 pieces and hauled away. the crane crashed down on to a street on friday, crushing a row of cars though it appears high wind was to blame. a violent attack in new jersey. he has turned himself in to police. the 16-year old encourages another teen to punch an elderly man. police are still looking for the 17-year old in the attack. more than a dozen parked cars broke through a frozen lake. this happened during lake ja nev.a's annual winter fest. thohoands in town for the festival and the u.s. natitial snow-sculpting competition. the parking lot was full so drivers took advantage of the open space and decided to park right on the
