using them. >> laurie: developing off the top tonightment outside the senior high school shattering the window and leaving students scared. in fact one student was injured while running from the sound of gunfe. >> calvin: and now police have a picture they want you to see. a man they say is armed and dangerous. local 10 news reporter live in miami gardens wi the top story tonight. andrew? >> reporter: that's right, calvin, laurie. detectives just releasing information about this teen you're looking for. he's considered armed and dangerous. we want to send you right to the photo so you can see if you can recognize this guy. give police a call and give them some help. his name is stanley reagan. he'19 years old. he's a known gang member according to police wanted in connection to this shooting outside carol city high. that school officials say put many, many lives in danger.area residents say it felt like a war zone.

carol city high school wednesdad striking the fence, piercing school windows. students and staff were behind those walls. >> heard booml boom, boom. like a bunch of kids start run. >> they say all students must go inside and stay there. >> reporter: the superintendant alberto carval rushed to the scene assuring no one was seriously hurt. >> we avoided the tragedy because inside the office there were educators in addition that and there were about 50 students still on campus participate nothing extra curricular and athletic activities. >> reporter: and the gunman driving east on northwest 183rd street, opened fire on the man who was walking in front of the school. fm not a student according to police but a passerby who also turned fire towards that vehicle. a gubattle in the street. >> it's shameful that the sanctityf a school has been violated again. >> i just came from there, too. >> reporter: students pointed

victor is live in lauder hill tonight. >> reporter: it was a rampage especially for the victim here at the swap shop. now they're not sure he'll ever be able to use his left hand again. >> it was at that moment on the ground begging for mercy and he thought he was going to die. for the first time we're hearing from the victim in the incredibly vicious sword attack at the swap shop. >> just jump and took the sword and come to me. >> reporter: it was sunday morning. sin was at work when he saw who police identify as 21-year-old javan walker charging at him. all caught on camera. >> right here. >> reporter: now at home, still black and blue and recovering after surgery on his arm, he says nerves were severed and he still can't feel two of his fingers. just before that attack, officers say walker allegedly

brochet with the metal pipe as he try tod get gas from the lauder hill gas station. they caught up with him on tuesdayment he's also on the mend with bruises and 18 stitches. >> he came and struck me with this iron or something. >> reporter: both of these men grateful to have survived. >> there's no reason. the reason is to kill someone. it means i'm lucky to live. >> reporter: and police say walker may have been on drugs at the time of the attacks. he's now facing several charges including attempted murder.in lauder hill tonight, victor, local 10 news. >> calvin: and new at 11, a nasty crash on the turnpike causing a traffic nightmare in pompano beach and sendndg 3 people to the hospital. the 3 vehicle-crash happening around 6:00 shutting down part of the highway. police say the driver of the pickup lost control on the northbound lanes crashing ovov the divider wall and landing in the southbound lanes. that roadway has since been re-opened. >> it was an interstatatinferno early this morning when the deadly car fire shut downwnlanes on i-95.

capturing these imimes on the cell phone. traveling near the 395 overpass when the driver lost control and hit a concrete wall. the impact forced the car back into the lanes where it caught fire. the road ranger managed to rescue one person from that crash. but the victim later died along with another person who was inside the car. >> lvin: we're now seeing what happened in the hit and run crash that left the motorcyclist in the coma. this happened at the intersection of southwest 7th street and beakham boulevard in miami's little havana neighborhood. jonathan berero is stopped at a red light whwh the van slams into him. he suffered serious injuries and remains in a medically-induced coma at jackson memorial hospital. his girlfriend of 2 years says e hopes he wakes up. >> so hard just to go day by day without seeinghim. like every night before i go to sleep, i cry my eyes out.

every night. >> calv: two good samaritans tracked down the driver after he sped off. luis sanchez is facing charges for leaving the scene. he's out of jail tonight after posting bond. >> laurie: sky 10 above a deadly crash from n port everglades late this afternn. you see a man, the body run over by the 18 wheeler and died at the scene. broward sheriff deputies and fire fighters arrive there. they re right on the scene to investigate but that victim's identity hasn't been released. >> reporter: the interview tapehave just been released in the controversial and deadly shooting with mcbean. mcbean was carrying an unloaded air rifle at the time of the shooting. they say mcbean ignored orders to drop the weapon forcing them to shoot. >> and there are those the area that would have been for the daand the structure going on and something in the ear to show could have heard anything you said? >> reporterdespite the statement that nothing

his commands, mcbean's family points to these ear buds seen in a photo after shooting. thty say he never heard parazza yelling demands to drop his teapon. he's plead not guilty to manslaughter. >> laurie: on the follow-up file, the arrest made after the deadly porsche crash on key bibcayne. medina was arrested earlier today and facing multiple charges including vehicular homicide. medina was behind the wheel of the porsche when he lost control and crashed killing -year-old done ye8a migle who seat. another passenger, 17-year-old matthew saldono was also injured. the state is expected to prosecute medina as an adult. >> calvin: two sheriff deputies now dead following shooting at the period immediate shopping center today. the depupies were called out to a panera bread earlr today where 67-year-old david brian evans was seated. >>initial deputy responded to

inveigator hits the high road. >> a very large suv crossed over those little orange cone things right in front of my car. >> reporter: these orange plastic poles did absolutely nothing to stop another driver from simply diving out of the express lanes right into the path of stephanie ossom. >> i slammed on my brakes. i could sort of feel the car spinning out and it was just pure terror. >> reporter: watch the driver of this white lincoln cut through the gap of missing plastic polls right into the path of the oncoming suv and then there is this video caught on dash cam showing what has happened over and over. the florida highway patrol says troopers have responded to 12,192 crashes in the express lanes in miami-dade county in the past 3 years. >> reporter: it just happens in i split second. >> reporter: she was riding her

the express lanes right across the ororge poles right into her. >> my foot cracked to the side. >> reporter: she lost her leg in the crash. she says the poles need to be removed. >> they are a false sense of security. i think that there shouldn't really be an express lane. there's this greed for money on the highways. >> that definitely is a problem. >> reporter: says trooper joe sanchez within minutes of riding with hihispotting lane divers. there's another problem. >> i'm not going to stop them. my vehicle will be halfway in the lane. >> reporter: you see when the florida department of transportation rececfigured i-95 to add the express lanes, they shrunk thshoulder. so trooper sanchez had to follow the driver of this camry for miles to try to find a safe place to stop him. >> regular traffic stop on here

already we're seeing 55 in kendall, fort lauderdale, pompano beach a really chilly spot at this point of 53 and so we are on track, it seems, to see some 40s out there by tomorrow. that's what the forecast model is showing. 47 for the low in miami. 46 in fort lauderdale. around 45 in hialeah and kendall may dip down to 44 while we maintain lower 50s in the keys. it's a chilly start. even with the high clouds working in. they're thin enough and not quite widespread enough to keep us from chilling out not to mention we stay in the north wft flow as we head through tomorrow morning. so thursday gets off to a cold start. a reasonable warm up, though, through the afternoon. so it's going be mild in the afternoon and if you start the day in a turtle ck, by the ash you're not going to want a turtle neck. we'll have lots of sunshineup there and temperatures getting into the 60s. friday it's going to be even warmer though and cool start to
