charges including attempted murder. in lauderhill, i'm victor oquendo, local 10 news. federal wildlife refuge in oregon, they are expected to surrender this morning at 8:00 a.m. putting up barricades last night. that standoff began january second. three people are recovering this morning after a nasty crash on the turnpike. that three-car crash happened shutting down the highway. police say the driver of a pick-up truck lost control in the northbound lanes crashing over the divider wall and landing in the southbound lanes. the roadway has since reopened. we're waiting to learn names ofhe people killed in a deadly car fire. the car traveling northbound on i-95 near the 395 exit when the a concrete wall. the impactorced the car back into the lanes. that is where it caught fire. that victim laterer died along with the other person in that car.

was carrying an air rifle at the time. deputies say mcbean ignored orders to drop the weapon but he refused. >> there was no construction going on. there was nothing in his ears. >>reporter: despite the statement, mcbean's family points to those ear buds seen in a photo after the shooting. they say he never heard the officer yelling demands to drop his weapon. the deputy was being charged withmanslaughter and has pled not guilty. a deadly crash involving a porsche on new year's day in key biscayne. police say medina was behind the wheel of that porsche when he lost control crashing, killing an 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in the back seat.

we did start off winter very warm and now january and february have settled in and we've had these stretches of cold fronts that have made it feel really comfortable. we started the workweek very chilly with temperatures in the 40s and now we're seeing those 40s again this morning. currently 4 degrees in ft. lauderdale. we have 50 in miami. i won't be surprised if that temperature drops down to the 40s. we even have the 50s as far south as the keys thanks to the wind reinforcing the cool air. 48 in pompano beach. 49 in pembroke pines and even in ft. lauderdale. 48 for you in kendall and 4 in homestead but it feels much cooler to the skin with the wd direction moving from the northwest. our feels-like temperatures are three to four degrees cooler as they walk out the door. look at the wind chill factor. the actual air temperature was 49 degrees in ft. lauderdale but thaha northwest wind has
