you are dealing with rainy conditions. notice as the fro limely clears we will taper the rain chances off throughout the later half of the morning throughout the afternoon and we will see drier conditions by the evening commute. i've been tracking all morning long. they have mentioned thaha tornado watch box has been filtered over portions of fort m mrs in towards portions of west palm beach. it looks as though the tornado watch box itself has been smaller where this morning we had it all over central florida. on our doppler radar we are the only ones that do this in tn, we can pin pound what's going on in these cells. take a look ad this. you see the darker shades on the radar, the national weather service indicating right here where we're seeing that rotation marker is that there is the possibility of some rotation developing over parts of the everglades over alligator alley. it's headed straight towards the northeast. for you in coral springs over portions of

a strong cell over portions of alligator alley and portions of the evergdes. come to your television screen. this is very interesting. it's something you nee to know before you head out the door. lots to edute you this morning on your forecast because of the heat and humidity moving in from the south clashing with a boundary of this cold front. we are going to see the possibility of severe weather. another area just southwest of 75 by alligator alley. all of this is continuing to push towards the north east. you see our big bubble, our comb we like to call it, that's going to continue to head towards the northeast because of the wind direction. with that head our friend over palm beach dealing with a wind warning right now. for miami-dade and broward you notice that tornado warning as well just to the northwest and so even northwestern half of broward not affected by the heavy rain and gusty winds but you're still dealing with showers and s srms as we advance this radar. moderate to heavy rainn

i-95 u., u.s. 1, 441, weston about to get soaked with heavyvy rain as well. just south of that we're seeing isolated activity so not even is deang with strong storms at this moment. the good news i all of this will be out of our way by the afternoon. th line of strong storms associated with the leading edge of this front stretch all the way into the gulf of mexico and eventuay pushing into the keys. we're getting ready for a nasty start to this tuesday it. temperatures aboutp 11 degrees above where we should be. in the mid 70s. we have our wind moving in from the southeast fueling for tha heat and humidity. wind speeds between eight and ten miles per hour. wind gusts in the 20s. right now miami and ft. lauderdale. so as we time it out, our inmhouse model pulls most of the rain starting as early as 8:00 but likely the worst of it won't move through miami until about 9:00, then we'll see the clearing

lots of lightning, a lot of you are writing on twitter julie, i'm hearing the thunder. indeed you are because we have a line of thunderstorm activity as well as heavy rain over 441. the everglades over portions of alligator alley, the sawgrass expressway. we're hoping t worst of the weather, the severe weather threat will stay just north of us but we need to be prepared just in case it doesn't. sawgrass expressway, really want you to pay attention in the next half hour, 45 minutes you'll be hit with the worst of the weather. stormy and wendy across south florida. eventually it will be affecting you in miami. once we get to the afternoon i'm happy to tell you it wasn't rain all day long. some late clearing will occur once that front moves through the area. west-bound at the palmetto expresssay a motorcycle crash. let's get to that. west-bound lanes& affected right here. this is just past the golden glades, i-95. we're hearing

morning, another possible health scare for one of the miami heat's biggest stars. associated press reporting chrisis bosh dealing with another blood clot. lala year he was sidelined because of a blood test clot in his lung. he was hospitalized for that. it's unclearf that calf strain is related to this blood clot but last year doctors did say the clot in his lung did start with a calf issue. bosh's agent sayay it's too soon for him to report anything. meanwhile his wifif adrian bosh tweeting just a few hours ago that she herself was in the hospital tweeting monitoring the babies overnight. theouple is expecting twins. we wish them the best. >> i didn't see it coming. i was out cold and then i woke up in thehospital basically. now to a one and only exclusive, we're hearing from two brothers struck by a driver on a ft. lauderdale sidewalk. it happened over the

a pope francis continues his tour of mexico, people in texas are preparing for the pontiff. he's preparing for mass tomorrow just across the boer from el paso, texas. the mass will be teleca for thousands at the university of sun bowl's stadium. there is the pontiff. he was there for a question and answer session to address family issues and he also met personally with several families. the pope attracted thousands of families at a mass earlier in the

currently the severe weather threat is over e everglades and over alligator alley. right here only on local 10 news we have the technologyo show you what they are watching at the national weather service. a large cell over weston, over u.s. 27, a very impressive cell. you can see the forecast path for this is towards the east northeast. again, national weather service has indicated right now at this moment at 6:45 miami-dade and broward and the keys are not under any watches and warns but that could change in a matter of minutes especially with how strong those storms are. currently we have rotation in two area. come to your television screen if youive in these areas or if you live in the areas highlighted just east. you need to be ready for it. we have a cluster of activity just north of the sawgrass expressway.
