president for certain you wouldn't do anything. the vice president also criticized republicans for saying the president should not nominatete replacement. the u.s. has hit north korea with more sanctions because of its nuclear program. president obama isuietly signing the punitive measure overwhelmingng approved by congress last week. it comes as the u.s. and china are in delicate negotiations over new u.n. sanctions. one senate sponsor of the u.s. measure hopes that china will notice the strong support for sanctions. back here at home more than two months after the terror attacks in san bernardino,, the fbi tells abc news it's still not rulingg out the possibility that a third militant was at that scene. the agency is also still looking for a hard drive that was used by the shooters. agents searched the home of syed farook's brother. no arrests were made but several boxes and a computernd other items were removed. the fbi does have syed farook's iphone but they can't get any information out of it.

apple remains firm in refusing to unlock it despite that court order. well, now google, facebook, twitter and microsoft all say unlocking the phone for the fbi might set a precedent for other cases. well, there arermore than two dozen grass fires burning in eastern oklahoma. that's the most in years. officials say numerous homes were lost. t they don't know how many. the city of tulsa has been filled with smoke from the fires. firefighters are using helicopters to dp water on the fires and officials say that the fires are not as intense now. well, more dramatic video as a huge brush fire near kansas city createu a fire tornado. the fire is on prison property but it has closed a highway there. firefighters believe it was started@ by a lawn mower. so far it has consumed about 1,500 acres. it's about 75% contained. no homes are threatened at this time. okay, so it has rained every day for the past eight days in the pacific northwest and as you can see on the radar there, it's

apparently pointing to what nasa says is giant galaxy containing one of the largest black holes ever observed. the picture was taken by the hubble spa telescope. the black hole is said to have 21 billion times the mass of our sun. well, a massive natural gas leak that sickened and displaced residents of a los angeles nehborhood for months has been plugged and now the clock is ticking for the tusands who fled the knoxous fumes to return home but despite assurances that the air quality is safe many residents are not so sure. some are fearful poisonous chemicals may have settled in their homes. a new study finds more than 58,000 of the nation's bridges are in repair. placed end to end they would span from new york down to miami and include some of the most well-known and well-traveled like the brooklyn bridge, memorial bridge in washington, d.c. and the 250 most heavily traveled bridges were all built before 1970. we do have a correction to
