thewe've got another crash to get to, this one on-95 southbound and 135th street. now to a one and only exclusive, a small plane going down in a crowded neighborhood in the florida keys. the pilot was trying to land at the small airport in tavernaero when he crashed into a person's front yard. luckily no one was hurt. caught and cuffed, this man accused in a rash of robberies. he is behind bars this morning. alfredo garcia his name. erica rakow live in details. good morning, erica? >> good morning are eric. teenagers, gas stations, a subwayrestaurant, the list goes on of places police say this particular person robbed.

not heading to the beach. maybe you're trying to make the dolphin expressway. you're going to experience a lot of these heavy delays as you're heading into miami this morning. f you typically travel to the beach and macarthur causeway you're not going to get through this way. instead you're going to want to exit earlier at the julia tuttle causeway heading eastbound. also for our southbound drivers on the i, we're going to see a lot of stop and go traffic here. those delays stretching past the airport expressway. those speeds between and 22 miles per hour. if you normally take the dolphin expressway, i'm telling you exit a little bit earlier. take the airport expressway and head south on 27th avenue. one other thing to get to, a crash on i-95 southbound and 15th street and in broward county on the sawgrass expressway, that southbound exit ramp to 441 is closed. instead take the turnpike. the south beach wine

on the i. obviously because a lot of folks heading into miami this morning. you see the sea of red there. a lot of folkstapping on their breaks because there are several delays in place. so again macarthur causeway exit shut down this morning because of that crash. if you typicallyly take that exit, you're going to want to exit earlier rightere at the julia tuttle causeway. we arere seeing heavy delays in place for anyone traveling on the i. those speeds between 30 to 10 miles per hour. so would recommend, hey, if you normally take the dolphin expresswa_ i would just exit earlier, take the airport expressway. it does look like those delays are stretching past 79th street. you're talking about three miles of delays right there on the i due to that accident scene. okeechobee road non-at the airport expressway we have a crash the, those speeds 10 to 20 miles an hour.

traveled to tavernaero after a plane crashed near an airport. >> she spoke to local 10 news reporter derek shore. >>reporter: a huge crash but never did carol imagine her quiet night with friend had just been interrupted by plane crashing into her yard. >> we just all looked at each other like what happened. i looked over the edge and there was the tail of a plane in my front yard. >>reporter: the monroe sheriff's office says the pilot w o miraculously survived was attempting to land at the nearb tavernaero airport of obviously something went wrong. looking at the map you can see just how many homes are in the area and how lucky it is the aircraft did not slam right into someone's roof. thth neighbor saw the plane fly by very low and then come back as if the pilot was confused. >> the next thing we heard, he turned around

of the morning, you guys. i-95 is a mess after this bad wreck at the exit ramp for the macarthur causeway. that's 395. that vehicle upside down. at least one person taken to the hospital this morning. so anyone trying to head to miami beach you're not going to get there on 395. you're going to have to exit off at the julia tuttle causeway. anyone trying to get to the dolphin expressway, guess what. this is what it looks like. a sea of red. let me quickly check with our real time data. we can know how fast folks are traveling. 10 to 12 miles per hour. so a few things here. if you typically take the dolphin expressway, you may want to exit earlier at the airport expressway to travel west. anyone normally taking the macarthur causeway, take the julia tuttle, i-95 drivers, there's a few options here. of course 441, u.s.-1, maybe the turnpike but i would just recommend exiting just a little bit earlier at the

miles. four miles of delays past 79th street this morning. yikes. hopefully they will clear that up soon. okeechobee northbound an earlier crash here off the expressway. a little fender-bender there. one crash off of 55 just past the exit for southwest 136th street or avenue, i should say. those speeds at 47 7iles per hour. glu can't blame t weather for these accidents because it's gorgeous out there. granted we do have a little bit of cloud cover. it feels nice out there, it's mild. temperatures warmer than yesterday but that's okay at 67 degrees in miami with a rative humidity at 57%. the one thing you're going to notice today is the breeze like just ahead. at breeze is elevating that risk of rip currents for you boaters. a little bit of cloud cover in the distance in ft. lauderdale. temperature of 68
