for now, we are deeping temperatures in the difficulties for the rest of the morning. neki. >> thanks a lot, jennifer. our top stoy. another young life lost to gun violence in miami-dade counnty leaving parents distraught and officials outraged. family in mourning after this 6-year-old boy is gunned down in front of his home in northwest miami-dade. king carter s air-lifted to the hospital where he later died. police are now searching for whoever is responsible. >> i am angry. our officers are angry. the community of miami is angry. hopefully angry enough to provide infformation that will lead to the arrest of the individuals. neki: it happened at an apartment complex along northwest 12th avenue and 13rd street. the 3rd grader was playing outside when someone open fired. they ask for the community to put anput an end of the violence. >> 60 children shot over the

people were gunned down, two more people were shot and killed in a car in the parking lot of this car dealership that you see there, but in is whee deputydeputie and police say the deadly shooting rampage started at a town home community around 6:00 saturday evening. a woman, a mother, was shot in the parking lot. thankfully none of her children were injured. the mother was listed in critical condition. one witness describe seeing the dark-colored chevy and officers and deputies surrounding the suspect's car. >> we were quite some ways around the vehicle. and we didn't necessarily want to be that close because as soon as she said the time of the vehicle. she said was it a chevy? i said it totally was in is the vehicle they have been describing all night, and you just never expect it to be that person. >> reporter: now a weapon was

the good news is this morning, starting off with mainly clear skies across south florida. so that means that we will see more sunshine once the sun comes up. the clouds will where later on today, tonight and later on tomorrow. temperatures areredropping into the low 60s for the western area. 62 degreesin pembroke pines, hialeah and 61 in kendall, the cold spot. along the coast, 67. and right on in miami, and ft. lauderdale at 70 degrees. now winds are pretty light out there, down to miles per hour in key west and miami, ft. lauderdale sing a wind now out of the southeast. elsewhere out of the east. but we eventually will get that southeast flow as we start out the new week. on the radar, no rain, just a light sprinkle two over the waters. you can see that is heading a little closer to marathon, but they may not even ccd togetherthey may not even cold together, less cloud cover out there compared to yesterday morning. all across central florida, nice and clear.
