throughout the morning. miami-dade and broward mostly dry, just a few showers starting to move over portions of ft. lauderdale and in towards coral springs before diminishing. just to the north of us we do have a cold front with an area of low pressure developing. showers and stotos across parts of eastern texas, louisiana and this front stretches off the coast towards the carolinas. going into the next few days we're goingo keep our eyes on this front and this area of low pressusu developing right now over the gulf of mexico and in towards new mexico and texas. what's going to happen is all this moisture is going to come together and basically today bring the possibibity of severe weather for texas. eventually it will be affecting south florida going into wednesday. take a look at the attempt behindhis front in the 30s ahead of it in the 60s so you can see the collision of the two air masses that will allow for the lift in the atmosphere and the severe weather threat today. for us we're goi to see mostly cloudy skies

left 12 people dead. millions in the capital have been left to deal with little or no water. dozens of people gathering on the streets and buses set on fire. three people are safe this morning after their plane came crashing down. it happened in new york in port jefferson. instead of ending up in the water, rescue crews arrived on the scene and grabbed kayaks in order to save the three. people in the city of st. petersburg are asked to use bottled water right now. the plastics plant is believed to be responsible for this contamination but officials have not finished their investigation. a man collapsed while grocery shopping and of rescue crews arrived to save his life, his son was on that team. >> the high school student and two nurses came to the r rcue while fire rescue crew arrived. turns out his son is an emt.
