in miami. detectives say a man walked up shooting a 16-year-old who was outside with a friend. the suspect runs off to an awaiting newer model red toyota camry. that teen survivors. around the same time though, another teen shot near 71st street and 14th avenue. >> paramedics quickly initiated life-saving efforts and we transportationed that person to ryder trauma center. reporter: area residents believe it's retaliation for previous shootings, something locals fear will consume the area if nothing is done. >> it's the normal and that shouldn't be. >>reporter: anyone with information is encouraged to call crimestoppers, that number 305-471-tips. i'm andrew perez, local 10 news. the shooting of those tns coming just hours after a break in the case of the shooting of 16-year-old king

police arrested these two teenagers right here in connection with that murder. carlos suarez has more now on how theyp were tracked down. >>reporter: leonard adams booked into jail where he would find a familiar face. irwin presley. a murder police say stemmed from a fight on social media. >> right now it appears that there was some type of beef between the two rival factions. >>reporter: when they pulled into an apartment building on saturday, spotted him near a stairwell and opened fire. carter who was walking across the parking lot shsh in the chest. >> you will live with this guilt for the next couple of days. >>reporter: the guilt appeared

teens who called carter's father and said sorry. in opa-locka police found a . millimeter handgun. >>reporter: he was on investigation for a strong-arm robbery and was wearing a gps on his ankle. the person managed to fire back strikin one of the teens in the neck. it's unclear whose bullets ultimately ended up striking the child. we're told that the teens are being charged second degree murder in the death and they are being charged with second degree murder on the intended target. they are being heldwithout bond. i'm carlos suarez, local 10 news. quite t t close call on wednesday when the pilot was forced to make
