there at that live data there. a little further south an earlier crash now in its clearing stages. i'm talking about i-95 northbound at sheridan street. miami-dade county we are accident-free. now back to our developing story of the morning. two teens in custody accused in the death of six-year-old king carterment just hours after their arrests, more shootings targeted at young people. one of the turns deadly. sanela sabovic live this morning a jackson memorial hospital. she has the details. what happened, sanela? >>reporter: two teens were shot. one of them is recovering at ryder trauma. he's in stable condition while a second teeger sadly did not make it. now the first shooting happened along norlhwest 75th street and northwest 19th avenue while the s sond happened near 14th avenue in miami's liberty city neighborhood. now a 16-6-ar-old

identified as dekwan gordonas the victim of that first shooting. police say a man walke up to gordon who was outside with a friend and just started shooting at the pair. the person responsible for pulling the trigger, the second, police say this victim was only 17 years old.. that teenager after the shooting was rushed to ryder trauma center where sadly he would not make it. these latest stripping of shootings are leaving communities reeling. look at the community. either they frightened out of t tir minds or they just dope care. it's the normal and that shouldn't be. >>reporter: gordon, the 16-year-old that was shot, he was shot in the leg. we're told he is in stable condition this morning. sanela sabovic, local 10 news. and now to those arrests made in the murder of king carter. >> teenagers will be

in the first grader's death and now we're learning more about these two. ben kennedy here with more. this is not their first time in jail. they have a history? >>reporter: eric and jacey, no, it is not. police say it is the result of a fight on social media. two of the three gunman are locked up and set to face a judge behind me. 18-year-old leonard adams and 17-year-old irwin presley made the same walk on tuesday after police charged the pair in the shooting death of 16-year-old king carter. officers s s the teams were aiming for a guy named juju when they opened fire. it's here carter was walking across the parking lot and got shot in the chest. officers stormed and opa-locka home where they found a .9 millimeter handgun as carter's family continues to grieve.

family apart. we trust in god. >>reporter: the two teens are now charged with second degree murder in carter's death and attempted first-degree murder. both are being held this morning without bond. reporting live in miami, ben kennedy, local 10 news. new overnight a deadly crash on i-95 in pompano beach. florida highway con foirmdz at least one personon killed. several southbound lanes were closed until 2:30 this morning. we do continue to follow a developing story. a florida international student hospitalized after falling from a building last night. campus policeay the student appears to have fallen two stories and landed on the pavement below. no word yet on his condition. we turn now to the newpdate on the zika cases here in south florida. state health authorities will not reveal where these patients live.

the judge declared a mistrial. prosecutors played a portion of an audio recording notupposed to be played in front of the jury. the defense asked for that mistrial which was quickly granted by the judge. a date for the new trial has not been set. police say they were forced to fire on guzman. police say he got into an argument with his wife at a restaurant at the mall. police say guzman then sped toward deputies, that's what forced one of themo fire. he took off and was eventually caught nearby. a plantation man accused of trying to leave the country after his son vanishe a judge reduced his bond from $1 million to 5,000. police say he attempted to board a one way flight after his son disappeared but that theory was disproved by

cars are out there. this is again i-95 northbound southwest tenth street. if you typically travel into west palm beach maybe for work or school, you're going to face major issues here. we're seeing at least two to three miles of delays. we've got two miles of delays again stretching all the way down tosample road if you're traveling in this spot. in addition to that, we've got something else to get to. aveling on the i, we have reports of a crash right off of i-95 nortrtound and 10rd street. now to our developing stories of the morning. two teens arrested accused in the murder of king carter. >> hours after police got those two off the streets, more violence. two teens shot in separate shootings. now we know one of those teenagers has died. >> sanela sabovic is live at jackson memorial hospital this morning. what can you tell us? >> as you guysmentioned, two teens shot only a mile and

one of those teens is recovering at ryder trauma center behind me where he's hearing we're in sble condition this morning. the other one sadly would not make it. more senseless gun violence plaguing the streets of south florida and taking yet another young life. two teenagers arehot minutes apart wednesday night leaving communities reeling. >> look at the community. either they are frightened out of their minds or they just dope care. >>reporter: the first shooting happened along northwest 75th street and northwest avenue in miami. police say the 1-year-old walked up to garden who was with a friend and started shooting at the pair, then took off in a waiting newer model toyota camry. gordon was shot in the leg and survived but the other teenager wouldn't have the same fate.

a fishing boat ran aground there and t coast guard boat sent to rescue it overturned. five coast guard members were able to get to the beach uninjured. right now they are being treated. they were wearing protective gear at the time. these are live pictures. this is the 74 foot boat that ran aground in queens. the very latest updates on the impressive video coming to you all morning long. tricky touchdown. a pilot in his cessna plane had to make an emergency landing and he walked away from the scene without any serious injuries. just look how the small plan came to a stop, the tail propped up against a fence in memorial. a spokesman says the cessna 152 was on a routine flight when it ran into some engine trouble yesterday afternoon. he tried to turn around that pilot butnstead

police looking for a white ford crown victoria. the man accused in a hit and run crash that put a keep in the hospitalonding out of jail. boykin granted $15,000 bond after facing a judge yesterday. boykin allegedly hit the teen crossing the street. police a boykin was not at fault in the crash but is charged with leaving the scene and driving with a suspended license. an army telling us he was attacked by a valet. at the spoke to edward dangerfield as he was leaving the v.a. hospital on wednesday. he said when he came ck his car was blocked in. he says he previously told them he was only going in for a minute. >> grabs him around my neck and i never threw a punch. before i knew it, going

we really do have a heart breaking story out of san diego. a ten-year-old girl died after s`e pushed two other children out of the path of a runaway car. police say an s.u.v. was parked on a slope and somehow slipped in the neutral position and

the s.u.v. was head towards kids playing in a yard. she pushed the kids outut of the way but up fortunately, she was struck. >> she saved both of my kids' lives. both of them could have been gone in an instant. she stepped in and took over and did what she knows best to do and that's to protect those around her. >> what a brave little girl. the two girls saved only suffered minor scratches from being pushed out of the way. caught on camera a bald bandit on the loose up ohio. he's accused of stealing rogaine. you can see he's well-dressed. obviously bald. police don't think he's personally using the product. instead he's selling it on-line. the man is also suspected of targeting
