well, returning to our breaking story. a deadly workplace shooting at a lawn moor manufacturer in kansas. the gunman 38-year-old cedric ford he worked for the company. he opened fire outside, then went inside and continued firing. rd killed three people and wounded more than a dozen others before being shot and killed by police. police say that something triggered ford's attack but they haven't said what his motive could be. we'll stay onh top of this breaking story. a former bp big rig supervisor has been found not guilty in a case lirked t the gulf of mexico oil spill in 2010. robert kalu sa was tried on a single misdemeanor charge of pollution. prosecutors said that he and another rig supervisor botched a negative pressure test and missed clear signals of trouble before the explosion on the deepwater horizon rig. a very different verdict has been handed down by investigators in the case of a

philadelphia. >> at the time, the airline suggested it was a blown tire t now investigators are blaming pilot error. here's abc's david kerley. >> oh, my god, my plane. my plane just crashed. >> reporter: it was a scramble. >> the plane is on fire. >> reporter: for the 154 people to get off the jet. >> i see smoke down there. we're going to dispatch the emergency vehicles. >> reporter: this, after the four-second flight ended by slamming onto the pavement in march of 2014. first reports of a blown tire landing gear trouble were wrong. it was pilot error. according to the ntsb the according to the ntsb, t pilots didn't input a piece of information into the flight computer. so, ashe jet started to take off, warnings. the captain puts the nose down and the jet slams onto that runway and bounces 15 feet back into the air before sliding to rest. the ntsb says, not following procebures and the "captain's decision to reject the takeoff" are the probable causes. the airline says it made "several cnges to our procedures, manuals and training."

into the air. city wororrs were repairing a broken water main in an upscale residential neighborhood when their backhoe hit a gas line. that sparked a fire that engulfed the roof of one home. but firefighters were able to put it out quickly. a hospital in new jersey sent out an alarming letter to more than 200 former patients. they're being urged to get tested because they may haveve been exposed to hiv or hepatitis. a pharmacist who worked at shore medical center was arrested last month for@ drug tampering accused of stealing morphine and replacing it with saline. his blood may have come in contact with the patients. a major medical milestone in cleveland. surgeons have performed the first ever uterus transant in the u.s. the 26-year-old patient will now have to wait a year before getting pregnant. the nine-hour operation used a uterus from a deceased donor. women in europophave successfully given birth after having the transplant but it's never been tried in the u.s. this could be very big for a lot
