west-bound and surprise, surprise, we're already seeing some congestion if you're heading eastbound this morning on the revenge venetian. those speeds clocking in at 20 miles per hour. now to a local 10 news safety alert. the search is on to find a peeping tom caught on camera lurking around a south florida home. police desperately need your help to get him off the streets. let's get straight over to local 10 news reporter erica rakow with details about what everyone needs to know about this safety alert. >>reporter: this man is unstable which makes him dangerous. they've taken still pictures and put them on this flyer. they are looking for himto morning. the surveillance video, as you mentioned, is disturbing. it's graphic. south florida so that we

the video is from the home on southwest@ 12th avenue. it's near a church and near a school. it was about 4:30 in the morning sunday. the man keeps touching himself. he looks in the front window of the house, rings the doorbell at one point before walking to the driveway. he opens the door of the car, gets in and makak himself at home. >> he got out of t t car and said to me, this isn't my car? this isn't my house? and i said no. >>reporter: and since miami police printed up this flyer yesterday, got the picture together, we got it on the local 10 website, people have alreadydy come forward saying i've seen that guy before, seen him walking from neighborhood to neighborhood. police want to hear from you if you do see him out and about today, call. we're live from miami erica rakow, local 10 news.

we have 60 in pompano beach and we'll continue with a light breeze in place. that's going to warm us up rapidly as we are expecting our highs to be in the upper 70s and low 80s. first light over the horizon, beautiful. during this time of year with high pressure in place over your weather pattern, it's a dominant weather feature, it provides for the dry air in the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere. making it feel comfortable. with the wind direction moving in off the ocece, it will be a bit humid. you can is he we do have showers popping up over the western atlantic. these showers are headed towards west palm beach. there are some isolated showers moving in towards key biscayne but overall only a slight chance of a shower in our forecast. wide-spread showers and storms in the forecast. right now cold front moving over portions of the great plains as far

far north of the great lakes. to remember what happens, we see the clash between the two air masses. there's that possibility of severe weather threats. our friends today from louisiana all the way up towards ohio to cincinnati will have to deal with the possibility. warm, humid behind the front, the teens at 20 and 30s. for us here in south florida, we'll thank high pressure again for another great day. granted, it will be warmer than what we're used to with the mix of sun and clouds in the forecast. by tomorrow that front that's going to bring the severe weather over the tennessee valley and ohio valley wl move over central florida, increase our rain chance slightly and bring us a little cloud cover. great day to head to the beach today with no advisories. highs will warm up as we go through the workweek. bringing our temperatures back to where they should be, seasonal for the weekend. >> thanks so much. i now know where there's so much congestion on the eye in broward.

on i-95 right off of sterling north of there, it's a hit and run crash and that's why we're seeing some major slowdowns. that's why we're seeing all those cars out there. first i thought it was just construction crews out there but i was wrong. griffin road, we have reports of a hit and run crash. police likely on the scene. it's not reflected in the speeds as of yet but obviously a lot of cars out there. for my folks headed from broward county into miami, you're going to see just a little bit of that showdown this morning. in addition to that hit and run crash, we we have reports of a broken down car i-95 and pembroke road. florida city we have reports of a crash here, this one affecting traffic off 192nd avenue and 352nd street. new video this morning o a procession for a body of a virginia police officer who was gunned down over the weekend. ashley guindon will be laid to rest today.

shot while responding to a domestic violence call on saturday. two others are expected to survive. a dangerous explosion caught on camera after a bus goes up in flames at a california gas station. officials say a bus driver pulled into the station after his gip began overheating and smoking. the gags station worker had just shut off the gas in time. the firefighter tuferred minor injuries but nobody else was hurt. crews working for hours on end to free a little boy stuck in a vending machine. >> how did it happen? the rescue was out caught on camera. four men led police on a dangerous drive, two in custody. the chase all caught on camerara ahead at 6:30. it's 6:15. that means it's time to say good morning to our facebook friend of the day which is monique lockwood from miami. she's a fan of theeat

and high-level clouds but those c cuds are not producing precipitation. sunshine breaking through some of it. we have 64 degrees in miami. relative humidity at 80% with the north breeze light this morning. it's going to feel a bit muggy throughout the later half of the morning and into the afternoon. currently 62 in ft. lauderdale. beautiful shot from our tower cam with relative humidity of 84%. and here's the money shot. look at this. our mallory square cam, gorgeous conditions, crystal clear skies, temperature at 67 degrees. relative humidity at 87%. you're definitely going to notice it does feel comfortable this morning with an east breeze in place with all es on the radar. we have some showers, dotted showers popping up and these showers will continue to head out towards the west. that's why we're keeping a slight chance of a shower in the forecast today. the relative humidity increasing tells us there's atmospheric moisture in the atmosphere that will

possibility of some of together. where it's located we always see a clock-wise wind pattern so the east breeze will be in f fce today. the winds will be so light we don't have any beach-goers. headed towards it the west northwest, we have a major stoto system bringing weather into tennessee and missouri and basically behind the system there's some very cold arctic air, a shield of snow all the way fromm minneapolis to the great lakes. the clash of those two air masses will provide the severe weather threat. all the way up towards ohio and in towards kentucky today. all of that again will stay well to the north of us. look at the temperures, gulf coast states waking up to the60s. we'll thank high pressure for yet another beautiful day for a mix of sun and clcuds in our forecast. going into tomorrow the leading edge of the front will move into central portions of our state. it will be weak so we're

of a change in our forecast. we'll keep that slight chance as another front moves in friday, finally bringing our temperatures back to where they should be, seasonal for the weekend. back to our big traffic story for the weekend. i-95 southbound just past 595 on at approach to griffin. we have a hit and run crash. you're looking live at pictures overhead. one lane of traffic is blocked here and because it's a hit and run crash there are obviously police on the scene with this one. i also see fire rescue trucks, they began to leave a few minutes ago. there's still one amamlance there on the scene. what that means for you obviously delays if you're headed into miami. let me show you how it looks from this angle right here. when you have one lane shut down on i-95 you already know there are going to know minor issues. this is i-9 southbound just south of i-95 this morning. miami-dade county our roadways are looking really good. we just had this neigorhood crash here in florida city to talk about.
