her toddler in the trash. two witnesses held the woman until police arrived. derek shore has more on this from plantation. >>reporter: 28-year-old mother stanan accused of discarding her baby in the trash. >> it broke my heart and i didn't want the child to remember that moment. >>reporter: she was just passing by on her way to work in plantation when another witness calleder attention to the child in the dumpster. she grabbed the baby and chased down that was pointed out as her mother. >> when i ran after her stopped. she did stop and she breakdown. over. you@ could see -- it's like she reached her break point. >>reporter: while she was horrified by the sight of the baby in the trash, she is expressing compassionate for sheffield, the mother told her

this system is well up towards the northeast. washington, d.c. and new york throughouthe morning into the early afternoon. so here's what's going to happen, after this front cs clears we are expecting this pocket of dry air to move into south florida. it eventually will push towards the south. as it does so, we are going to notice d, comfortable conditions temperatures in the 30s and0s. we are expecting to see this area of cold air just to settle towards northern florida. for us here in south florida, it's not going to make its way. we are expecting the warmup to continue over central portions of the united states. we will notice warm not much in the way of rainfall today. high pressure going behind this front going into your saturday and sunday providing for highs to be in the upper 70s with lows back in the 60s. don't expect a big drop in temperatures as that front is cleared by tonight into tomorrow morning. if you want t head to the beach, you can get out there before the
