the number is also up in broward. a new patient brought the total to seven. all of the cases are travel related and there are a total of 50 patients in florida but only four are showing symptoms of the mosquito-borne virus. a here's surveillance video from december 30th that shows that man walking into publix liquor store. they say he reached into a vic's purse that i know store stealing a credit card and then that card was used at another store. police say the man was not alone. they are looking for these two people additionally. if you have any information, please call police. the homeowner says the man scared ofo at first but then came back to get a book bag he had left behind. if you know who this is, all miami-dade police.

down the street when a man in an s.u.v. pulls up to her, asks her where she wawa going. to bolt down the street. this morning we hear her very story. >> it't' something no child should have to go through. and run away she did. surveillance video capturing the harrowing moment of a 13-year-old girl running in fear of her lifee and away from an attempted abduction. >> i was scared. >> i never liked walking. >>reporter: you can see in the video she is looking back at the tan s.u.v. while that man tails her. the abduction happened last week. investigators said the driver of that s.u.v. seen in this sketch stopped and asked the teen where she was going. she ignored him and

to lure a bill girl with candy and assaulting her in the laundry room with an apartment complex on sunday. he's facing assault charges and is being held without bond. three arrests have been made in the amber alert for a little girl. he was found in texas hours after he was reported missing in miami. police say his mother is no longer in police stody. hernandez was released because no out of state extradition order was issued. she still does face an active warrant here in miami. therethey are now all facing charges for allegedly lying to police about the child's where abc abouts. > have you seen this video? caught on camera a a terrifying crash sendinga dump truck and driver right over the edge of an interstate ramp.

a redriver rescued after being strapped in southwest miami-dade. the dog was distressed and exhausted when crew as arrived at the scene. a rescue diver was able to jump in the water and get her out just in time. she was taken to the miami-dade animal services county shelter. developing this morning a man opening fire on his co-workers that led to a deadly shooting inside a florida business. a driver taking off from the scene but bringing a tree along for the ride. more on that obvious evidence that led to her arrest. south florida, hol on to our hats, another breezy to windy day. elevated risk for rip currents for beach-goers. i'll have a lot more on the forecast you don't want to miss coming up. and chased right out of the cartoons.

decided to release a dash camera photo. charges really real for the driver. don't drink and drive. well, a tree on the tracks caused a train to derail in california sending the car plunging into a creek. at least nine people were injured of those, four people were seriously hurt. the others had minor injuries. >> i was trying to keep everybody calm around me. >> there were 200 passengers aboard the train at the time of the accint but police say it's a miracle no one was killed given the dark in rainy and chaotic conditions. severe weather pouring over parts of california. not only the wind and rain. there was also hail and lightning strikes.

low 70s up and down the coast and were expecting inland parts of broward and miami-dade. so the east breeze, the ly relief from this heat and humidity we're going to see but the wiwi direction isn't the only directionon we're going to see. good news is we do have that blanket of cloud cover in place to really strengthen with our temperatures into the upper 70s today where normally this time of year we see busy stres. the cloud cover will keep us in check. it looks beautiful but dangerous so keep that in mind. we see our palm trees blowing in the wind. great day to head to the broad walk and do some working out. the breeze could transport some showers. we did see an isolated drizzle well parts of broward this morning. otherwise t t atmosphere

high pressure in the north. it's not going to change in our forecast today or tomorrow. the high bringing severe weatherver parts of the nation's midsection from texas all the way up towards the dakotas and nebraska. we are going to see another sysysm moving in from the pacific bringing more showers and storms up and down the west coast. for us today we're going to stay quiet, dry and comfortable. i wish our friends across texas could do the same. they could see a tornado they could have to deal with wind gusts and could have some deal with some damaging winds. we are expecting the clash of two aims to see provide for that. for us here in south florida attempt in the upper 70s will warm up every day as we get in the weekend. we still volume a lot of heavy congestion on i-75 southbound on the approach to the palmetto expressway. it looks almost like a parking lot here. at this point we're not quite sure what's causing all of these delays. we don't have any reports of construction

debris. we are seeing those delays stretching way past the big curve at 138th street right there at the exit ramp. ourpeeds are clocking in at eight miles per hour. palmetto southbound we're seeing heavy delays as well. those speeds at 75 miles per hour. i'm going to keep meye on that to see what's causing all of those issues. want to get to some of those delays off of u.s.-1. it looks like it's happening just north of the turnpike here. if you're traveling both northbound and sohbound right there off of u.s.-1, we're seeing some heavy delays in place. let's see what those drive times are there. those speeds at 1 1miles per hour. turnpike northbound we're experiencing some delays there as well in the same location. those speeds 16 to 24 miles per hour. moms and dads, you
