those trying to enjoy their night were stunned. he works at a nearby restaurant and says he saw the madness unfold before his very eyes. >> it was two guys fighting. they started fighting. one pulled out a gun and shot the other one. from what i heard, i think, you know the victim that got shot was 21 years oldld. >> oh, oh ! >> shooting comes on the heels of a rowow bring break weekend. this was the chaotic scene unfolding on the beach. crowds clashinin with police.e. when it was said and done seven people were arrested. with the spring break season underway they don't see it getting any better here along the beach. >> it's beenn very crowded, very busy and probably the same way tomorrow night. >> and right now we're working to find out the condition of that victim. a witness does tell us he was shot in the chest.

>> new this morning 6 people including children are in the hospital after being shot in an accidental shooting at a mayoron county gun range. a 21-year-old was loading an inteague shotgun and accidentally fired the gun. the incident took place saturday. they say the bullets hit the ground and then the victims. >> this is an accident but always point a weapon in a safe direction. in this incidence point it to the ground. we had a concrete that caused a ricochet. >> all victims treated for non-life threatening injuries. four victims children ages 8, 10, 14, 15. the city of miami police department collected more than 100 guns and distributed thousands of dollars worth in gift cards at the gun buy back evebility saturday. they selected 128 guns and gave out more than six guns in gift casheds. it hopes to remove illegal guns

is it going to be a sunny sunday funday. >> for some of us, yes. but with a few showers in a few spots. on the radar, we're tracking the showers that have actually wrapped up a little bit together like a streamer but also expanded. so let's get right to where they are. smacked in the middle keys. marathon looks like the vein around you. grassy key getting some rain. some of these are producing heavy downpours. keep it in mind for boaters out there. this continues to track up north and that means that the upper keys could get some of the rain associated with the bands of showers. we're also seeing a couple of thunderstorms just off the gulf coast over the weekend. right there you see that line. those are a few thunderstorms embedded in that heavy rainband. this is associated with a piece of energy in the upper levels of atmosphere. it's a small low, a short wave.

rain where you see it. but it's also helping to destabilize our atmosphere. and this is what has allowed for the high to break apart that was over us. now taking it to the mid and upper levels of atmosphere. you can see where the moisture is. this is dry air. because we have dry air aloft doesn't mean you don't have moisture at the surface. this piece of energy right here will be the trigger mechanism for the afternoon hours. we'll see later on today. and even for monday. but this is what it looks like out there, hollywood beach. gorgeous. you want to head out to the beach be careful because there's a risk. temperatures in the mid 70s at this hour. light breeze out of southeast. in-house models showing the showers i mentioned developing inland at 1:00 spreading across broward, northern miami miami-dade as well. southern miami-dade will miss out on the showers developing today. high rip current risk in effect.
