6:01 pm
allowed to vote on those pirns we did speak to one voter who made predictions for us after casting her ballot. >> on the democratic i guess hilary and on the republican, that's hard, maybe marco rubio. >> do you think marco rubio will make it happen? it's his home state. >> amy: and the polls end at 7:00. those need to be in officials hands by sense of in order to be counted. >> and three big candidate will keep a very close on a on tonight's results right here in south florida. >> laurie: we have a team of reporters with what those candidates are up to. >> carlos: i'm carlos suarez with the donald trump campaign in mar lago. donald trump is expected to meet with supporters come 9:00. the campaign is quite confident he'll carry florida. question for them is just how big of a inwith it will be. just about every poll had trump in the lead.

6:05 pm
know in about an hour if florida voters forgive rubio for his brief detour in the gutter. >> calvin: michael, we know that ted cruz took texas but what is he expecting tonight? >> michael: well, in illinois i think is nis best chance. ted cruz spent yesterday in illinois, went to five campaign appearances. he is behind there b on four or five points, and that's a proportional state. ohio and florida are winner-ta all. but illinois, big state, is proportional. if ted cruz comes in a strong second he stillets lots of delegates. >> laurie: and what's this about trump asking for the polls to stay open later in orangecounty? >> michael: we just got this letter a short time ago, and the lawyer for trump has written to the secretary of state saying "leave the polls in orange county, orlando open for an hour" because he says they've been running out of ballots all day long.
