let's look at the illinois primary. another win for donald trump. trumum taking 39%. ted cruz behind with 30%. john kasich, 20%. marco rubio in fourth place. >> anchor: andillary clinton was in a battle there for awhile, but it looks like she pulled this one out. 58%-41%. hillary clinton taking illinois. >> anchor: and missouri, donald trump taking this with 42%. ted cruz very close behind with 41%. john kasich just 9%. and marco rubio 6%. >> anchor: that was a seesaw battle for a very long time. and speaking of that, it looks like bernie sanders is still ahead ofillary clinton. hillary clinton was ahead for much of the night, but then bernie sanders seems to be

>> anchor: and despite trump's wins, cruz is not backin down. >> only two campaigns have a plausible path to the nomination. ours and trump's. nobody else has any mathematical possibility whatsoever. only one campaign has beaten donald trump over and over and over again. john kasich, came in a distant third here at 13%. marco rubio 8% tonight. >> anchor: and democrats, with hillary winning 55% over bernie sanders' 41%. let's bring it back to florida in our presidential primary. we have a political editor here. >> let's talk about miami-dade. marco rubio was counting on a big win in his home county, and he won by a sizable margining but not big enough. rubio got 63% of the vote to trump's 22%. ted cruz not 9%. that's sizable win. but again, it didn't offset trump in other parts of the state. and in broward -- miami-dade

vote for hillary clinton. 75% for hillary clinton and 25% for bernie sanders. and broward is the most democratic county. and trump trounced everybody in broward. 49% to trump. 13% to ted cruz. and on the democratic` side, 73% clinton and 26% bernie sanders. and she is the far and away winner. and she won florida by 31 points. this was just not even close. >> anchor: and i think the headline tonight is looking at marco rubio, he is sororof ending his campaign where it began. not the same spot, but near. >> he ran a pretty good campaign buthe really never got traction.
