happy thanksgiving, family, mobile three is live on the parkway where it is just about 90 minutes, the the parade will kick off. the weather, very, very nice. once again happy thanksgiving everyone it is thursday november 27th i'm ukee washington. i'm nicole brewer in forker contact lets check with your holiday forecast, ukee, you said it, looking nice out there we are thankful it is looking great. >> in kidding. we had just an entire day's worth of an event yesterday that was rain, snow, slush, and messy stuff out there. and we can expect to see a little bit more sunlight out there then what we saw yesterday. lets take a look outside where we actually saw a a little bit of light snow on the roosevelt boulevard in northeast philadelphia this morning. so what is going on here?

it was really just because we had left over moisture and instability to work w i don't want to you worry that the storm has not retreated yet. if you went to bed and maybe you woke up and aid what the heck is going on here? it is all starting to clear out of here. we will go outside and see is what left behind in the light of day in the pleasant val any broadheadsville. we are at 32 degrees there. it is chilly enough that any of the slush, maybe left on the untreated roadways could be slick out there. that is not just for poconos and northern suburbs, really anywhere. lets go out to storm scan three next and that was the snow, we showed you video overnight and now that the unis is up that is starting to fizzle away. granted you will not see too much sunlight out there but you will be dry. for the most part. here's how we did in other choice locations mount pocono pick up 8 inches. new tripoli pick up half foot. new castle it was way less because we had rain/snow line so close by.

"eyewitness news" reporter jane carabao is live at cacia's bakery where people have been lining up all morning long, good morning. >> reporter: nicole and ukee, good morning. happy thanksgiving. take a look at what we have, it is quieter now that we are later in the morning. you know what we have passed the 100 mark, 100 turkey mark and they are all on the floor right there ready to go into that famous brick oven. the only stipules is, of course you guys, these guys have ton defrost ted and season them yourself, you have

morning, don. >> reporter: happy thanksgiving ukee and nicole. this area is buzzing with activity over my shoulder, fans and marchers are getting into place, parade starts at nine and promises to be a great one. the the stars of the show are blown up and ready to go. >> this is order of the parade. >> reporter: eighty-eighth annual macy's thanksgiving day parade will usher in the holiday season today. >> i love balloons. >> reporter: five-year old justin watch balloons get inflated last night. the tradition is almost as possible as the main event. this year 49 giants and novelty balloons will fly over parade among new ones friendly locomotive, thomas the tank engine. >> i like all of the balloons. they are so awesome. i like snoopy the best. >> reporter: parade route is two and a half miles long. organizers say three abe a half million people will be here to see it all in person.

takes a disturbing turn as police revealed new details and file murder charges against her stepfather. gregory graf killed three three-year old jessica padgett a wife and mother of three. she disappeared friday on her lunch break at a day care center. officials described what happened just ten minutes after she went missing. >> he did admit that he intentionally and knowingly caused the death of the victim at his home. he related he utilized a firearm to cause the victim's death and that he then took the victim's body and disposed of it on his property. >> investigators continued to look in the sexual mote any of this case, graf could face death penalty if evidence shows padgett was assaulted. family tragedy claims another life in new jersey, last remaining victim of murder/suicide in tabernacle died wednesday at cooper university hospital. investigators say 11 year-old, and, and, mothers and, and,

good morning, that happy thanksgiving. i'm ukee washington. lets check with katie for your holiday forecast. >> happy thanksgiving, everybody. we are expect to go see very quiet, very tranquil weather unfold, for today, for tomorrow, for the weekend and we will see how long this will last us here in the seven day but now that our major storm system is long gone, we have a chance to clear out. granted we have some cloud cover out there. that is where you'll fine here today but notice even in the last three hour loop of storm scan three there was some lingering light snow. i had questions on twitter bit. it is just left overs, guys. all it is is residual moisture. storm is long gone and now that little pocket of light snow is has been fizzled we are looking good here. mainly cloudy skies and

carabao. happy thanksgiving, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, nicole and ukee, happy thanksgiving to you as well. we have packed, this place, in here, sam cacia a joining us just to tell us about how it went this morning. all these turkies are tagged, ready to go in the oven. that is next step you are taking us on right now. >> we're all ready, another ten or 15 minutes we will put all these turkies in the oven and then we will have some downtime after that. the hard part getting them all together and ready and that parties all pretty much done. we're pretty much maxed out. i see, 127 turkies here so far. so, like a major part of it is through right now. i was saying earlier i got to grow a couple more eyes behind me head because i have so many thingsing on at once, i'm trying to tag turkies, tell them where they got to go, watch people in the store buying their bread for

thanksgiving, make sure everything is, all these things going on around me i got to make sure everything is right. >> reporter: this is first time we have been able to speak to you since you you started at 5:30 because you have been every where the whole time. >> i haven't stopped. >> one year you reached 130, 135 that was max. >> i can probably take a few more. it depend on how much i get is how tight i have to put them in here. >> that i imagine is a tough job getting turkies in and out because that oven goes deep and you use these long, paddles to get in and out. >> about 25-foot long and you just got to take your time and go slow because turkies are heavy and you have to just place them in the spot where you want them, it takes experience to get it off the shelf exactly where you want it. >> i think your son said he usually comes a was i with a couple burns on his arm. >> when you are taking them in and out and taking the tin foil off the steam usually gets you when you release the

tin foil the steam comes out from under the pab and it usually gets you. you have to be careful. >> reporter: what i think is cool right above the after even, that 1944. >> yes. >> talk about the significance of that. >> that is when the the oven was built by a company called r robson, which they are out of business because nobody build an oven like this anymore. my grandfather bought bakery in 1953 from a guy who had two sons that they didn't want to learn how to bake. he was here by himself. he was well, i'm in the doing this anymore. my opposite don't want to bake i will sell the bakery. he sold to it my grandfather and that was 61 years ago and we have been making a go ever since. >> reporter: what made you want to start tell people to bring your turkey here and what started that. >> my grandfather told my father if you want to make some extra money, just tell people you'll cook their turkey for thanksgiving.

31 degrees. a very light win. virtually non-existent in kutztown right now. you can see in the last few hours we have had a quick round of light snow out there, and thankfully underway but dit provide me a wintry atmosphere. certainly for any of the last minute commuters maybe that were heading up for the last minute here on thanksgiving for the holiday. you might still have a a few left over slushy roads or maybe even some frozen patches here because our temperatures are so marginal. just keep that in mind. overall we're done with the storm. we can move on and expect to see pretty quiet, pleasant weather for the next four days, back to you. in other news, several demonstrators stormed city hall in st. louis during a protest over the ferguson grand jury decision. a few dozen protesters made it in the building yesterday while shouting shame, shame. police lock it down and called in more than 100 officers to control the crowd. two people were arrested.

we are hearing from the mother of michael brown, grand juries decided nod to indict ferguson officer darren wilson in her son's death. >> it felt like i had been shot like you shoot me now, just no respect, no sympathy, nothing. so my emotions were raging. i had to go around to let them know you just really don't care, do you. >> that grand jury decision sparked two days of unrest in ferguson and several hundred other protests nationwide. the man at the center of that fire storm officer darren wilson has been in talks to lead the police department. his lawyer told cnn quote it is not a question of if but it is a question of when. right now wilson is on paid administrative leave and he reportedly told associates he would resign as a way to ease pressure and also protect his fellow officers. surveillance video captures the final in minutes of the 12 year-old boy's life

butter ball.com or 100 butter ball. we have 30 years of experience that we will be able to answer any possible question that you may have in the preparation of your thanksgiving or holiday turkey. >> i'm sure people have have a lot of questions for you, anthony. what are most common turkey problems that people talk about. >> the problem is, one of the things is making sure we call the 3t's, it is proper that you go of the turkey. one of the things to keep in mind in the that you go of the turkey is one day for every 4 pounds. the next thing is the temperature, we want to make sure that when we roast the turkey that in the thigh it is as 180 degrees and in the breast we have it at 170 degrees. now if we notice breast starts to brown too quickly and temperature rises, we will then take a piece of reynolds foil and we tent the turkey. this will help slow the browning of the breast so we can have, the breast come out
