conditions temperature-wise with a lot of the you in the 60s and 70s. as we get into the afternoon looks like the low 80s. there's a chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm. >> now, deserves are baffled by a deadly shooting spree that broke out in las vegas that left two police officers and a civilian dead. it ended with a male and female shooters killing themselves in an parent murder suicide pact. authorities say it was an ambush two police officers were eating lunch inside this shopping yesterday afternoon when a man and woman walked in and opened fire. >> what precipitated this event we do not know. my officers were having lunch. >> one of the officers shot back, but both cops, 42 alan

bech and igor soto were killed. >> they ran out the door making a statement saying this is a revolution. >> reporter: witnesses sayment male shooter repeated the words and they fled across the street to a walmart. inside the walmart a third person is shot and killed, police rush to the scene. officers enter the store from the front and discover the body some officers encounter the suspects' exchange gunfire. then according to police the man and woman carry out a suicide pact. a short time later more shots were hurt. it appears the female suspect shot the male suspect and took her own life. >> reporter: overnight police searched the apartment that

belonged to one or above the suspects -- both of the suspects. there's no motive for the killing. >> the driver of the truck that crashed into tracy morgan's limo bus is due in court today. morgan is in critical condition, but showing signs of improvement. else more responsive after undergoing surgery for a broken leg. he has a broken nose and several broken ribs. meantime, authorities charged kevin roper with death by auto. the driver described the collision to abc news. >> it felt like an explosion. i just remember the impact and the vehicle going by and i climbed around heard tracy screaming for help. >> investigators have yet to determine why the truck did not

starts tonight on i-95 just north of center city philadelphia. the 212 million-dollar project will rebuild a 1.5-mile section of the northbound lanes between girard and allegheny avenues. work crews will work between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. to minimize the effects on traffic. this is one of several projects along i-95 in philadelphia. all the work is expected to continue until the summer of 2018. that massive 100 million-pound pile of dirt next to 495 bridge is almost completely gone. crews have been clawing at it with backhoes to haul it away. the weight of the dirt mound may be to blame for the the damage to the city supports. it was placed there without city
