need of rescue. accuweather is tracking the threat of more showers. >> unsettled is the key word. let's go to david and karen. good morning. >> good morning. satellite and radar shows you how we have a lot of clouds overhead and in some cases some showers. we've seen them well up to the west of philadelphia. if you're in western chester county or berks county you need to keep your eyes on this because it looks like a thunderstorm may be winging its way up into your direction in a couple of minutes i'll show you the closeup view on storm tracker 6 on that one. 70 degrees right now in philadelphia and it's definitely muggy as you step outside. you felt that humid air develop during the day yesterday. it's here now. 67 degrees in allentown, 61 up in mount pocono, 72 in dover and wilmington and millville, still 67 in sea isle city down by the ocean. as we head out the door to catch that school bus looks-like it's going to be muggy, 69 by 6 o'clock, 71 by 8 o'clock and in some cases a shower or thunderstorm during those hours especially in the western suburbs. something might creep newspaper philadelphia as well. 73 by 9 o'clock, 79 by noon so

that number really does jump quickly today and your high this afternoon is going to be that 83 at 3 o'clock. again, humid conditions, still the low 80's by 6:00 and really at any time today there could be a pop-up shower or a drenching thunderstorm just like yesterday. not everybody saw them but where they do it will be somewhat memorable. karen looks like unsettled weather lasts through the work week. i'll have the late of the from accuweather coming up. >> we'll be prepared for these wet roads at any point. today you can see we're dealing with the fog. we're looking live at 422 near 29. not a real problem here as we see that eastbound traffic headed towards oaks but you can detect the reduced visibility due to the low clouds in this area. watch for. that let's switch or camera view and show you closer to the city and it's a different story here. you can see the fog not as evident and certainly not volume here so no problem on the vine. this is the vine near the schuylkill people heading across the city and moving nicely with no problem. as we look at the big picture here's the blue route, here's the schuylkill and i-95 and you can see speeds are all in the 50's so no big problems,

5:08 am
this is how long it takes for this system to move over the course of about a half hour and that's a very short arrow so it's just not making much of a inroad but once it gets over you, because it's moving so slow, it really is going to take awhile for it to get through and i'm going to go ahead and get rid of that storm track and just go ahead and latch this for you. this is a very slow moving system and if you do happen to get caught beneath this area of the heavier rain, that's going to create some ponding and puddling and poor drainage flooding especially on the roads where the drains can't take it like the one we showed you on the action cam from yesterday. this is pretty typical of what we saw yesterday in some neighborhoods and what we're now seeing this morning. i'll say berks county, chester county in the immediate path of this. there's also something over the delaware bay that appears to be falling apart and we could see some of this rain filling in before the ends of the rush hour closer to philadelphia. as we take a look outside we have cloudy skies across the region, muggy conditions. karen rogers just mentioned a couple moments ago about how there is a little bit of fog beginning to pop up especially in northern areas but at the
