>> good morning, everyone, it is 5:00 a.m. on this thursday, june 1. >> here's what's happening. >> grab that umbrella, accuweather is tracking morning fog and spotty storms today. >> fire gutting a delaware county tavern overnight. >> a store clerk is attacked and terrorized during a robbery in philadelphia. look at the roads early on with david and karen, good morning. >> reporter: storm tracker 6 live double scan shows you most of the region is dry, every now and then we have a sprinkle or shower most of this is to the west of philadelphia right now. looks like reading received a small little patch. nothing showing up on radar in wilmington and south jersey.

nonetheless there's fog developing in parts of the region. whenever you get low clouds and fog you can get drizzle on the windshield. farther to the south we get as we get into the afternoon heating and maybe we break out a tad of sunshine with all these clouds you're going to see warmer air move in more humid air and the development of drenching downpour producing showers and thunderstorms. there's a flash-flood watch that kicks in at noon and goes into late tonight because of spotty drenchers. the big areas of concern are new castle county delaware and the areas close to the delaware river in south jersey. those that see the stuff could get a good drenching. 63 in philadelphia. 65 in wilmington, 66 in millville. 61 in allentown. 65 degrees by 6:00 a.m., 67 by 8:00 a.m., a little damp with

that fog in some neighborhoods. today's high, 79 degrees, warm and muggy. anytime this afternoon we'll be on the look out for showers to develop and he could see drenching down -- and we could see drenching downpours from the rain today. >> reporter: the roads are damp as we are traveling right now. we have reduced visibility with fog. 422 at 29 there's eastbound traffic. the fog is not causing any huge problems, no problems as you head towards oaks and 202. don't forget to keep your low beams on for your fog we're seeing it in varying delays. this is a live shot at girard on i-95. northbound they are trying to start the construction to make the changes to extend the construction twenty from the vine to girard now it's it's going girard to allegheny.

it happened in roxborough, m and m market. police say it was around 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon a man with his hood pulled up over his baseball cap went into the deli on tuesday, he was armed with a small black handgun, he goes behind the counter and points a gun at the employee and starts going through his pockets and grabs money from the register and stuffs cigarettes into a white plastic bag possibly a macy's bag. he punched the employee in the head knocking him unconscious. the robber made off with $1,500 in cash and merchandise. he left the clerk on the ground as he fled. do not approach him, call 911 for northwest detectives with any tips you might have. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> it is 5:04. happening today, sentencing is scheduled for two former philadelphia police officers found guilty of stealing
