prostate cancer. the search is on for the suspects in the drive-by shooting in willingboro new jersey. one person in a small brown car fired on a group of men walking to their car. both men were taken to cooper university hospital. no word on what sparked the shooting. >> septa's regional rail is back running this morning. president obama has intervened to get septa commuter trains back on track. the action cam was at the market east in center city as the stalled trains got moving once again. the president has the power to step in under federal law which regulates railroad labor disputes. now, all the workers who walked off the job at midnight have been recorded back to work. kenneth moten has more. >> reporter: nearly 24 hours after septa regional rail cars stopped running, the operators were coming off the picket line. saturday evening president obama used his federal hand to push the transportation agency and

unions blet and iebw back to the table. >> the sooner we can resolve problems and make compromise to finish the strike, the better. >> reporter: the president's executive order created a 3-member board to mediate the dispute. the strike shut down 13 train lines that carries tens of thousand from philadelphia to the suburbs, the airport and jersey. neither the union or septa wanted the temporary intervention calling it a tear fix. >> we'll comply with the law and be given the opportunity to present our best case to the presidential board. >> reporter: engineers haven't had pay raise in five years and electrical workers four years. >> we have 7400 unionized

it will ride around the clock friday and saturday, riders will need exact change or tokens. a 4-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit on the 16 block of pine street. the driver stopped after the accident and remained on the scene. police say the case is still under review. they do not think any charges will be filed. a frightening scene in the parking lot of springfield mall in delaware county this weekend when three cars went up in flames. police say one car caught fire yesterday afternoon. the fire then quickly spread to the two others cars. all three cars were badly damaged. no one was hurt and no word what sparked the blaze. there's been another bear sighting in south jersey this weekend. this time it was spotted in evesham, burlington county.

these new pictures were sent into us by an "action news" viewer named margo. police say the 300-pound black bear turned up in the kings grant area of marlton. police remind everyone to keep their garbage cans covered an if you do see a bear do not feed it. if you see this bear or any bear in your neighborhood call 911. we have a miss new jersey, this morning. and here she is. 21-year-old sierra jones from galloway township atlantic county and a student at rutgers university. her platform is youth arts education. this year mark also the 50th anniversary of the miss new jersey pageant. receiving a high school imloam seems like a -- diploma

>> storms caused daniel in charlotte, north carolina. the storms bringing down a massive tree that took down power lines. one resident described it as a war zone. dozens of firefighters were called to the home after lightning sparked the fire. the homeowner heard the loud noise, but didn't notice any flames. luckily, nobody was hurt. >> springtime weather is so tumultuous anyway. >> reporter: we could have pop-up thunderstorms next week, but in the meantime let's get you outside, that's the moshulu, it's a nice quiet morning around the delaware valley. feeling more spring like. summer begins this up coming saturday. feels lovely right now. low humidity levels, comfortable

temperatures lots of sunshine. 69 degrees, dewpoint, 49. it's where we like it this time of year. winds are calm. pressure reading 30.16 inches. trenton, 65. allentown, 64. reading, 66. lancaster a cooler 63. poconos 58. these are the numbers we'll watch closely over the next couple of days. this is the way we measure the moisture in the air. but get over 60s it's muggier and close to 70 it's down right awful. well get close to 70 in the next 24 to 48 hours. here's tomorrow. it's nice and comfortable out there right now. tomorrow afternoon we'll see dewpoints in time upper 60s. the way we scale that we're in here, the humid category it will feel like georgia or south carolina out there. we get into monday night and tuesday morning, look at this, dewpoints are in the low 70s. now we're in the steam-bath

category and then a cold front comes in on wednesday and that will knock it down. this is the main player on the map right now, other than high pressure which is bringing us the lovely conditions as ihigh speak, but once this swings through and that will happen on monday, winds will then shift out of the of the southwest and that's when the humidity starts to increase. for the first time this year we'll touch 90 degrees. actually there's the possibility of doing that couple of times in the seven-day forecast. as the frontal systems sweeps through it will tiger showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night. i think this is arriving too soon on this model, but i wanted to show it because it shows the idea of these showers and thunderstorms along that front. let's say between 7:00 and 9:00.

tanersville 58. the poconos dropped to the 40s during the overnight hours. they are rebounding nicely. they had a daytime high yesterday of 59 degrees. they will get warmer today up in the 70s. that was chilly stuff. chester, 69. kennett square 64. hockessin 67. dover, 66 and sea isle city, 66 degrees. here's the satellite and radar composite watch this. we'll set it in motion, there's absolutely nothing going on. all the weather is well to the west across the high plains and the us/canadian border. accuweather says if you're looking for something to do take your pop to the phillys game. 79 degrees when they get things going, a very pleasant comfortable afternoon no humidity. with that said things change

over the next 24 hours. the humidity starts to increase and for the first time this career we're up into the 90s. you'll need to turn on on the air-conditioners over the next couple of days. i'll have the details in the seven day forecast when i step back inside in just a bit. >> a u.s. aircraft carrier and several other warships are in the persian gulf. meantime forces in iraq are striking back at insurgents which yoa control a great amount of territory claiming to have executed 1700 government soldiers. it's been a battle of sunni muslim versus the shi'a government. >> reporter: thousands of iraqi from being and across southern iraq took up arms marching toward the assembly point waving guns and flags. they answered an urgent call to

defend against a blood-thirsty group who have overrun over parts of northern iraq. being is breaking for an attack as the fighters from the islamic state of syria and iraq. the dramatic gains have the potential to plunge iraq into sectarian warfare with different ethnic groups fighting each other. refugee camps are overflowing. the situation is grim. >> very serious threats to the sovereignty and the integrity of this country. >> reporter: the white house is on high alert. pentagon officials say they are drawing up constituency plans to evacuate or protect five thousand american crackers working in iraq. president obama has ruled out any ground forces to sure up the government forces, but other options are on the table

everyone on board. pro russian separatists shot down the plane yesterday. 49 troops were killed. this is the deadliest incident to date involving the ukrainian military. the u.s. is reaffirming it's support for the ukraine. the army is asking a two-star general to look into how bowe bergdahl left his base and ended up in cap ticht. the investigation is -- captivity. the investigation is expected to start next week. but it's not clear when bergdahl will undergo formal questioning. septa regional rails are running again thanks to intervention. president obama created an emergency board to mediate the contract dispute. 400 engineers and electricians

lightning struck at the fort lauderdale airport. it forced officials to close it while repairs were made. in minnesota high winds turned a weekly sailing regatta into a rescue efforts. four boats capsized sending people into the water. some were able to make it to shore, others had to be rescued. everybody made it out of the water safely. meanwhile, saying up to be a beautiful day here at home. happy father's day to all the dads out there. >> reporter: sunshine and comfortable temperatures. funny, i was going to tell you, at least they are on the water now, they just got it cleared of ice, two weeks ago in minnesota. wow. action cam live at the art museum at the gary pappa run. you can see folks taking a stroll. several members.

20, 25. atlantic city at the airport, 12. wind on the beach 15 miles per hour. dover, 10. wilmington, 8. lancaster 7. satellite and radar showing clear conditions across the entire mid atlantic and northeast this morning, actually most of the eastern seaboard as high pressure continues to dominate the pattern. as we go a little bit wired across the country and we cruise the water vapor i imagery. we're seeing the explosion in thunderstorms these are high cloud tops spiking as high as 30 to 40,000 feet. this frontal system will run across the u.s./canadian border. it will swing the warm front through. at that point all this heat will rush into the delaware valley. this is tuesday evening, two-thirds of the country will be stuck in the 90s or upper 80s and low 90s. you add humidity it will feel
